Overall i really like the changes made int his patch, however there are two thins a dont agree with.
The first being the scoutcar. It obviously needed a change, but i feel it will fall into irrelevancy after this patch, but only time will tell.
The other being the jagdtiger costing 40 more fuel.... i mean that unit is a monster theres no question but even with the mobility upgrade it is still among the slowest units in the game, maybe even the slowest. Perhaps it may have needed a change but 40 extra fuel is a bit much imo. Maybe a Slight MP reduction to compensate a litle? |
OKW starts with less manpower because of starting with sp. Increasing their mp.and giving them a volk squad instead wouldn't really do anything... They'd just make a sp as first unit and then bam, nothing is different than it is now.
Raketen has less range and does not provide units behind it with covert cuz it has no gun shield thingy.
IG is already really expensive, so no.
Obers have no AT, require the flak truck and at 400mp per squad you can really only afford one squad, making them worse at long range would bleed okw too hard. Volks are great utility but their ai capabilities are really poor, okw needs strong elite infantry to actually kill stuff. Furthermore okw has nothing like a p4 or t34 to use as mid game ai.
So yeah truck crushing should go but changing anything else would require buffs in other areas.
Lets not forget poor the accuracy is on the rocketten, at least in my experience is missed ALOT and cant even one shot a m3 scout car unless you crit from the rear.... |

I like how the title is "western front balance" and the op only speaks of nerfing okw... The only change you mentioned i can get behind is the supply truck crushing units. Thats just silly. |

I dont see why anyone would hate on this system. Its far better than having to pay for things and it gives a small incentive to keep playing. Play the game, and you will get commanders relatively quick. I among many others have unlocked commanders on just day 1. |

Actually play soviet and use the three conscript molly build and realize mollys are not very strong, and in fact are quite weak. |

The su-85 is not OP for the following reasons
1. It is very squishy.
2. Contrary to popular believe, it does not kill infantry. I dont know what game youre playing but it is simply god awful vs infantry units.
3. Can be out manuevered with proper micro, making it a sitting duck.
4.Panzershrecks, Panzershrecks, oh and Panzershrecks.
Without this unit the Russians would get stomped by German armor pretty much every game. And to the people saying it negates the elephant, lol. Elephant is 10x as tanky (as it should be) outranges the su-85(huge deal), and does a lot more damage. I dont even know why theses tanks are being compared. |
