It's been especially good watching OKW replays since I've been trying to learn that faction. Hoping I might have some good replays to send you soon (not sure if they are MNF worthy or regular cast worthy).

Episode 423. Helpinghans takes on Happyphace. Enacting a mobile defence vs the Rifle company :
Like the episode. Hans did with infantry a good job but wasted Pumas a lot. Anyway, when he realized that his tactic is not going to work, he should have teched more up. Anyway, nice again to watch again a splendid made Propagandacast Imperial Göbbels

-My economic position. I simply couldn't afford anything with munitions because I had to funnel most of it into fuel. Additionally, Obersoldatan were prohibitive due to their highcost and my frequent reinforcement. Panzerfusilers were priced in a nice spot of "I can afford them". I needed man power cheap units that could readily recrew vehicles or raketenwerfers without having to immediately go reinforce, and PF's fit that bill quite nicely.
The lack of salvage was mainly due to the fact that panzerfusilers don't have the ability to do so. (Aside from that first M20)I was staring at the vehicle graveyard just wishing.
The stuka (and many flak tracks) was based on the fact that the thing giving me the most trouble wasn't the shermans but was the veteran allied infantry. Since I had no veteran infantry to speak of, I needed tools that would decisively hard counter the infantry that I could afford on a crippled economy. Back teching to the flak track forced off 4 squads of infantry and gave me a small reprieve, while also allowing me to pick off a sherman. The stuka almost wiped a veteran LMG paratrooper and veteran RE squad, which would have helped immensely.
Where that failed was that I was persistently trying to control half of the map rather than carving out my own 33% and then pushing from there. I kept getting caught out of position by new shermans I didn't expect, as keeping track of them with the breakthrough doctrine is quite difficult. (Armoured vehicle detection would have been wonderful to have in this game.)
Also the main reason my early flak track was wasted is because Relic fucked up the set up on it and it resets up everytime you tell it to attack someone else. If it would have set up the first time and began firing I could have crippled him easily. (Very easy to wipe american infantry on that map since the machine guns don't cover the typical retreat point) Ever since the July 22nd patch the flak track has been near impossible to use efficiently due to this stupid bug.
Anyway you're pretty spot on about where I made mistakes and what I should have done (I honestly spent the whole game recapping the same 3 or 4 points) but I just wanted to explain some of the stranger decisions. Thanks for the cast!
