Oberkommando's west ridiculous anti air

Pretty much all plane based abilities other than single strafe types are completely useless against them due to their flak emplacements. Does anyone else think this needs to be seriously toned down ?

Inquiry: If using the lend lease commander for the Red Army can you still use the fuel drops against OKW?
Or will the base flak emplacements rapidly shoot down the cargo plane as it flies from the enemy's base towards yours?
Havent tried yet in-game.

lol never realized that. They shouldnt be supposed to shoot enemy planes in that case i guess.

Given how many airstrikes there are, it's a very odd design choice to have small maps with that much flak.

In the Alpha the base defenses of the OKW did not have anti-air capabilities. I would guess that remains the same now.
The only anti-air that the OKW gets "free" is their T4 Building: the Panzer Schwerer HQ. This actually does shoot down planes in my experience although how well it does so I have no idea. I've been able to use Lend Lease planes in a few matches. I could see how a campy OKW 4v4 team would invalidate anti-air power by teching up but in smaller games I would suspect that you're probably pretty safe.

They won't shoot down certain planes like the paratrooper/drop planes, supply drop planes, but for "low flying" planes, such as strafes, air strikes and recon planes they will target them.

Ok guys thanks for the reply. I was afraid that OKW could invalidate a whole commander since the start of the match and for free, which would be pretty unfair.
