There's the 57mm gun, the tank destroyers, and the bazooka blobbing.

What have you been using and what is the most effective?

M20's mines are awesome early-on. 57mm or M36 with scout units (pathfinders) are a beast and even rape Kts.

I don't even bother myself with bazooka. I never go for this, use only captain as counter against kubel, it's just too weak for late game and for middle game I have AT gun and/or Stuart. It's better to get BAR and make AI inf + at gun and stuart as AT power.
57mm AT gun is hmmmmm weaker than Pak40 and ZiS3 on paper but practically i never go below 300% when I get one. Once I did 11k dmg with just one. Tank destroyerS? I thnik is should be tank destroyer because M10 is to weak to call it like that, Sherman is a medium comprehensive tank, E8 might be tank destroyer but still at power is not impressive. Only M36 can handle the heaviest BUT it's useless againt inf.
On the other hand Tiger II, Tiger or Panther are tank destroyers better than M36 with good AI power also.
I noticed that USF have no AT power like others.
Soviets: SU85, T34-85, IS2, ISU152.
Ost: Panther, Tiger, Elephant, Tiger Ace
OKW: Panther, Command Panther, Tiger II, Jadgpanzer, Jadgtiger
USF: M36, E8.

Balance, huh? Or should I say there are many choices for USF...

Out of the AT options, I've had only good success doing this:

Offensive, tank hunting option: 3 x Bazooka blob with HMGs providing suppression and protecting them. This is costly in manpower but US has super healing and 5 man squads.

Defensive or evasive, fire brigade option: Jackson shoot & scoot from max ranges (50-60). The M10 just doesn't work and I don't think the buff (5 range to 50) will change its value significantly.

If you aks me I would say it's very risky. One hit form mortar or whatever to HMG and everything collapses.
I prefer make Rifles 100% AI and just support them with At gun and Stuart. In this case they will kill everyting with pschrecks very quick making place for Stuart.
Even in lat-game you will have use with them but if you give them bazookas they won't be effective in late-game cause they won't handle nor inf nor tanks

Bazooka Blobbing sucks, they'll get ripped apart by infantry and you'll bleed for subpar AT.

The M10 and M36 suck in 9/10 situations due to no hold-fire and bad target prioritization.

The 57mm is good but it still suffers all the typical draw backs of AT Guns.

I used to make zero bazookas (all 1 x BAR or 30 cal.) but seeing bazooka blobbing successful I changed my mind. I moved the muni to bazookas in my last few US games and made few or zero AT guns. The AT gun manpower was shifted into reinforcement and thanks to US strengths, I don't lose squads too much.

the US 50 cal. does great damage and suppresses from range 45.

At guns are defensive and can cover a VP but I often lose them. i don't like the US AT gun performance either- its penetration is significantly inferior to pak/Zis and close to the bazooka's.

The US bazookas are inferior to the Panzershreck. 1 or 2 is not enough. They do 80 instead of 120 damage, have inferior pen (120 instead of 180?, I'll check again later) and are really only useful against rear armor of OKW tanks.

They need to be stacked up to stalk tanks offensively and of course not walking right up into their face,- I've liked used 4-5 tubes of them at once so far (focus fire). This includes the officer that comes with double bazookas.

That's the real problem. I just use stun ability from Stuart and click for half-truck, he shot once, then swich to inf next to truck... I had to constantly keep clicking on half truck, otherwise it automatically changed to inf

I haven't played as US in a US vs. Ost match. Any idea how it's different from fighting OKW? Will do some matches next week.

This guy doesn't know a squirt gun will kill a kubel in a couple of seconds.

Given that both are best when engaging armor at max range, this means that the lowest pen value should be expected...

The M36's stats:200/180/160, Range 50

The M10's stats: 180/160/140, Range 60

They changed M10 in last patch and increase range from 45 to 50, so you probably exchanged their range. M10 have 50 and M36 60...

Out of the 3, bazooka seems to be most effective.

Why? Its relatively cheap(RE squad always gets it, captain gets a pair). On a cheapest squad in game that can get 5th men.

AT gun doesn't have a range or penetration to be useful and even AP rounds do not change that.

Jackson is effective and can take out a panther with a micro, but Wolverine is some kind of joke, it was supposed to be quick and maneuverable but feels like heavy tank made of paper.
