Forum Ignore User Function?

Just a question for the COH2 forum (though the application to the game would also be great to see) - Is there an ignore user function on this forum?

Also - is there an "ignore" player feature in game - i.e. you auto match and get a player you'd rather not see again (i.e. useless team mate etc)?

There is one, so don't wonder if your thread gets ignored.

Cheers for that.

Would you be as so kind to share how to do it?

So - do we have instructions yet on how to perform this function?

No, because it doesn't exist. Tuvok made a script that you can use to block posts from certain users. I don't have the link handy, but if you look around for some permutation of "ignore" "user" "tuvok" and "nullist", you'll probably find it.

From; http://www.coh2.org/topic/10244/invisible-user/post/92250

Either:

$('img[src="/uploads/avatar/9409.jpg"]').closest('.post').height(30);
$('a[href="/user/9409/katitof"]').closest('.quote_top').next().hide();

Or:

var ignores = [9409];
$.each(ignores, function(i, uid) {
$('.header a[href^="/user/'+uid+'/"]').closest('.post').height(30);
$('.quote_top a[href^="/user/'+uid+'/"]').closest('.quote_top').next().hide();
});

Thx to Tuvok

Someone went through trouble of inventing 'invisible user feature' specifically for him.

Enough said :banned:

Re OP: AFAIK there's no way to ignore users in-game. It's a feature I would definitely like added. I don't think there is any way to stop the game from matchmaking you with a particular person either. Maybe if you use "Block User" on Steam? It would be hard to test to see if it actually worked.
