I have Sub Button!

Just got the subscription button for my channel (HOORAY!) and I need help with coming up with coh2 related emotes for us to use. I think the favourite at the moment is an RNG emote. What other emote do you guys think we should make?

I welcome and greatly appreciate all help from the artist in helping create these emotes. The specifications for these image are below:

-Custom emoticons-

On average, channels with custom emoticons sell more than 3x the amount of subscriptions as channels that do not take advantage of them. We highly encourage you to create your own custom emoticons! Each emoticon must be added as a 28x28, 56x56, and 112x112 pixel images in transparent .png format, cannot be text-based, and cannot include any content you do not own unless you have express written permission (which must be provided to us).

-Chat badges –

A custom subscriber chat badge is a great way for you to identify your loyal subscribers. Create a custom chat badge that looks awesome, and your viewers will be proud to sport it next to their name in your channel! Your custom chat badge must be 18x18 pixels in transparent .png format. Similar to emoticons, your chat badge cannot include any content you do not own without express written permission. You can submit or change your custom chat badge to partnerhelp@twitch.tv with the subject line “Subscription Chat Badge - (your channel name)”.

Gratz man, there are a lot of nice sub emotes on twitch. There is already an RNG one though

Congratulations, well deserved! So basically you are allowed to have several per? channel emoticons and a custom subscriber icon, which seems to be a black star by default.

No need to rush with things. I'm sure HelpingHans has a lot to digest.
For what could work as emotes:

I guess anything iconic, even memish COH2 related stuff would be cool. People tend to imply their opinions with images. At some level "where is my luck in this game" has got its position, whether or not it is hatred or not.
Iconic unit/ability/upgrade/feature/game mechanic could work as an emote. If that gets too boring, Ginnungagap's RNG Manipulator is a good example of coming up with something completely original.

One of the emotes HAS to HelpingHans' own face, probably with the commander hat.

Congratulations James. Good to see a dedicated COH2 streamer getting the nod from Twitch.

Congrats on the success. But as a fellow streamer, I don't really feel like anything we do merits any personal monetary gain whatsoever. Its as simple as downloading a background recording software and interacting in chat while we play games we would have played anyway. Being a active youtuber is like a part time or even full time job for some people. They spend hours a day recording stuff so that hopefully if they are lucky, 15-60 minutes of it will actually be worth watching. Then they do their own unique thing, whether its be funny or give analytical commentary for the duration of the footage, or whatever else makes them special. And only after you have put in the effort and/or creativity to have content worth viewing, you still have to spend hours editing and encoding it. So basically what I'm saying is don't collect $200 as you pass go, give it all back to the viewers through game or hardware giveaways like most other streamers with subscribe buttons do.

I'm not saying that because I want to potentially win some good shit for $5, I'm set in the money department for now and I don't watch often enough to have a good chance at winning stuff (no offense). And I'm not really jealous of the viewer numbers either, I actually prefer chat that can be read opposed to walls of text and emotes quickly cascading down the window. On youtube there is a pretty obvious correlation between expertise/effort and channel growth, but twitch is pretty low maintenance (even sushidad made your overlays for you). Do you really think its fair to collect money as part of an online popularity contest? Maybe your intentions were to use this as a way to fund giveaways and I apologize if thats the case, but the thread title just screams "Hey I can collect $5 from you guys easier now!"

lol. Yeah, no. Calm down buddy, its just a sub button. He's not obliged to do anything, give aways or no give aways. People who find his stream/personality entertaining will support him for those two reasons alone, any viewer who expects giveaways isn't really the kind of viewer you want in your "community" anyway.

That aside, congrats Hans. Do whatever the fuck you wanna do and don't listen to anyone else to tell you otherwise. Hopefully you get some o dat sweet gigabit internet in Japan to stream.

Doing expensive give-aways on a daily basis would make to suspect viewer's motivation to watch the channel. Are they there just for the graphics cards or are they there for the entertaining stream?

Right ok... I primarily wanted the sub button so we could have fun creating custom emotes but yeah whatever.

Congratulations James. I was really surprised to see someone from the CoH scene managed to get subscriber features.
