I'm aware of the stats document https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ApmrrrPr20ncdEpuSHcxNko1VGVFYjczYXpFZWhqOHc#gid=0 and there I see the armor of the different tanks. Front and rears armor have different stats which is logic. But what exactlty is "rear"? Is this only the back or also the side of a tank?

As far as I know, the tank is split from middle into 2 hitboxes, front and rear.

There is only stats for back and front. The sides are a mix of side and front.

If the shot hits from the front 180 degrees it hits the front armor, from the rear 180 degrees the rear.
