MG Garrisoned Facing? Spawn Announcement Missing?

1. Hi, my machine guns are missing the ability to change where they're facing when garrisoned. I already have the "garrisoned_squad_facing" and "garrisoned_squad_facing_unset" so it's not those that are missing.


2. How to give an announcement to a squad when they spawn? Some of my squads are missing it.

1. Is this with all garrisons or only those of a certain type? Is this behavior present with vanilla units as well in your mod?

2. It would probably be in the squad_ui_ext but I'm not sure. Other possibilities would be squad_type, entity type, and entity UI. I don't know what the specific setting is to get an announcement. You can easily compare instances by ctrl+clicking them on the left tree.

1. it doesnt happen with vanilla units.

2. i checked squad type and its the same. I dont see an entity type and ui type.
I tested making a new squad of the unit without changing anything and it has a spawn voice and voice. I noticed that the game gave it a grenadier voice even though its an obersoldaten group. I was using wehrmacht.

1. Copy the weapon/weapon_bag/behavior settings from a vanilla team weapon MG to the MG that isn't working. In ebps/holdable_ext check to see that this is hold_heavy_machine_gun.

2. In sbps/squad_ui_ext/race_list/ext_key you need to add the race separately. For capturable units such as vehicles and team weapons this is needed to have dialogue since you cannot have dialogue from other races.

Copy the speaker_generic, speaker_specific, speaker_specific_alt, speech_code_2, and speech_code_3 letter codes from the squad you would like the dialogue from.
