A Look at Heavy Tanks

I've been poking around in the modding tools and thought other people might be interested in the stats for the heavy call-in tanks.

First up is the cost/durability table with a Panzer IV for scale - note that I've used the higher (DAK) cost for the Tiger but the difference is only 100 manpower:

Churchill Black Prince Tiger Panther Panzer IV
Armour (Front/Side/Rear) 300/225/150 300/225/150 300/210/80 330/140/80 170/105/70
Health 1200 1200 1200 900 720
Target Size 24 24 26 23 20
Max Speed 4.2 4.2 4.2 5.2 5
Acceleration(Deceleration) 2(2) 1.5(1.5) 1.5(1.5) 2(4) 2(3)
Cost (Manpower/Fuel) 460/120 690/180 800/180 550/100 430/90

I also have a table for the gun stats (from an anti-tank standpoint):

Churchill Black Prince Tiger Panther Panzer IV
Range (Max/Far/Mid/Near) 40/40/20/0 45/45/20/10 45/45/45/45* 40/40/40/40* 40/40/30/0
Penetration (Far/Mid/Near) 120/140/180 140/200/300 220/250/300 220/250/300 125/140/220
Damage 120 160 240 160 120
Accuracy (Far/Mid/Near) 3.4%/5%/7.5% 4.5%/6%/7.5% 3.75%/5.63%/7.5% 4.5%/5.63%/10% 4.5%/5.63%/7.5%
Moving Accuracy Multiplier 75% 75% 50% 75% 75%
Min/Max Min/Max Min/Max Min/Max Min/Max
Reload 4.5/5 4.25/4.75 5/5.5 3.75/3.5 3.5/4
Wind Down 0.875/0.875 0.875/0.875 0.875/0.875 0.875/0.875 0.875/0.875
Fire Aim Time 0.125/0.125 0.125/0.125 0.125/0.125 0.125/0.125 0.125/0.125
Refire Time 5.5/6 5.25/5.75 6/6.5 4.75/4.5 4.5/5
Tentative Base DPS 20/21.82 27.83/30.48 36.92/40 35.56/33.68 24/26.67
Churchill/Tiger Penetration Chance (Front) 40%/60% 47%/100% 100%/100%* 100%/100%* 42%/73%

An important note is that while the Tiger's frontal armour has the same value as in CoH2, tank guns in CoH3 have substantially higher penetration up close than in CoH3 (see the Panzer IV, for example) so armour becomes much less valuable at short ranges.

*The range stats for the Tiger & Panther appear to be bugged at the moment. The values for the Far/Mid/Near ranges are all set to "-1" which defaults them to the maximum range of the weapon. This results in both tanks using their maximum penetration values across their entire ranges.

I am slightly disappointed to see that they did not expand the range of target sizes, but still use roughly the same scaling as in CoH2.
Together with similar accuracy values, the compressed range will make it more difficult to differentiate between some of the vehicle classes.

That's also a classic Relic move
