From what I've heard so far today it sounds like the community has been involved from the earliest stages.

Whiteflash has his two coh3 wishlist stories on here and those received a lot of attention. Relic definitely took those into consideration.

They've also hired two community members. I'm not sure who but I'm pretty sure one of them is Monolithic Bacon.

All in all, it looks like they've had the chance to take their time with this and they've been working on mixing the best of coh1 and coh2 into a game that us hardcore, longterm fans will love while staying up to date with what newer players want to experience.

Yes there was in the early state a small group and over the years it got a little bit bigger.
About the second person, working for relic. I think its about the person self, if he wants to share this with the community or not. I am sorry.
