3 of them ended with Tiger Ace and all of them had several of 'normal' Tigers.
Tiger push combined with airstrike simply does not allow for any kind of massed defense, which is what you need to defeat such strong units.
Add command lag to the struggle and the supposed counter AT-nade and ram are in heavy trouble.
This is not just 'hard' for the soviet side. It's also very repetitive.
Wasn't the Tiger Ace supposed to be an extra spice? An occasional surprise?
Now it's not. Now it's part of the meta.

I played 4-5 games with my friends today and we lost all due to tank/mg spam from soviets. When I loose a game because someone is better than me I cant take it. But when someone just have unfair advantage then i cant.
So no more COH2 for me until they fix this.

That is what I said the first time I saw that commander.
Nothing prevents the german player to call the Tiger Ace EVERY game when he sees the game is lost.
VCoH King Tiger was fun. It was expensive and hard to see in most games. Powerful, but still possible to destroy with a couple of tanks and ATs.
Tiger Ace is a magic tank, with numbers that doesn't match any existing WWII tank, impossible to kill without suiciding several T34s or placing lucky mines.
Creates a repetitive and boring mechanic in the game that shouldn't be allowed in a RTS game.
Soviet Industry still can be toned down for balance, but Tiger Ace needs a complete redesign.

Proposed fix; in a 2v2 match a maximum of 1 player can choose the elite doctrine, in 3v3 and 4v4 a maximum of 2. So the first to choose it gets it, the option will be blacked out for the rest of the team. Should make for less extreme outcomes, while still making the commander viable.
So people will have paid for a commander they can't use? Not gonna happen.

But apart from that, I think the number of (normal) Tigers in games needs looking into. It is my impression that they are much more numerous now - and in vetted versions.
But ofc. as all of us move up and down the ranks, it could influence play experience.
So what's everyones' verdict here? Did Tigers grow in numbers post-patch or not?

i don't think you really explained it that well as you may have hoped to (atleast imo). after rereading it I get what you said but only after you pointed it out. get it now you make an interesting point.
