Maby they should firing in semi-automatic mode in long range fights(higher accuracy, lower rate of fire). Would be a cool way to balance this gun. Thus the idiotic exchange of G43 (good) for StG44 (much better) for PGs would then also be obsolete.

At least consider this for CoH3, please.
Buddy i'm pretty sure that is how it works in game. they have a fire rate of 8 and a burst length of 1/8 of a sec that's 1 shot per burst. they are also quite a fair bit more accurate than other auto's and have similar accuracy to other semi autos in game (grands and svt are 45% while stg is 48% iirc that is) it's just the damage and time between burst at long range is a lot lower than those (for balance reasons obviously). So check the stats first m8.
