P4 or Panther?

Hey, Ive been play coh2 for a few months now. I generally play allies (USF n Soviets), so I thought I would try my hand at OWK as the normal wehr just seems lacklustre to me. So my question is: is there a point to making a p4 as okw? I prefer the idea of lots of p4s blazing through the battle field, but they just seem to be a bit to lightly armoured to not go for the panther. They are in the same tech branch as Panthers, and Panthers cost a bit more and are a much bigger presence. So What would be a situation where the p4 would be better to use?

Every situation except fighting heavy tanks.

OKW P4 is an excellent anti inf tank but it also has enough pen and armor to engage other medium tanks if microed correctly.
A Panther is horrible vs infantry but it has very high penetration and good durability so you should use it vs heavy tanks or as anti tank unit + damage sponge for other units like JP4. A Panther with JP4 backup is pretty hard to deal with

So if they go more infantry go p4, if they go more tanks panther
