Why is the ost mortar HT being nerfed vs Brit emplacements

I really don't understand the logic behind this. The Mortar HT is a niche unit only useful vs campy players and brits. The incendiary barrage on it is getting it's +25% dot damage removed. Why Brits will be now better on the attack why do they need have their defense be improved to. Unlike every other factions emplacements the brit ones can't be flanked by infantry and cant be taken out by one click abilities. They have to whittled down by attrition. While placing them requires no skill and they still do their job with no more effort than placing it. And on top of that the mortat pit can 3-4 shot a MHT. A MHT can not 3 shot a mortar pit. Just unbelievable nerfing a niche unit's only useful ability in it's only useful usecase.

There are more emplacements than just mortar pits you know? Also, I fail to see how a mortar pit is any easier to use than a mortar HT.

The fact that you don't really have to micro it, the fact it fires 2 shots vs 1. Your, question is not really relevant.

The fact is you have to constantly use the barrage to bring the pit to its full potential.

Currently, a single flame barrage from mortal HT or Leig can bring event a braced mortal pit from full down to less than haft HP, an unbrace pit will be around than 10% HP. And after taking out the pit, you basically dominate UKF with indirect fire.

Don't you have to do that with every mortar. But every mortar does not 2 shot. And besides this thread is not about the pit vs MHT so why are we even talking about it.

Ummm... Pack howis also 2 shots every ost weapons teams. And that's without needing to pay munis. 2 pack howis nukes everything. I don't see pack howis beeing nerfed.

This thread is not abut the mortar pit. There is Bofor and 17 lbr too. And 17 lbr out ranges a MHT.

Yeah, every mortar can move and cheaper, tho.
And you are the one who said: "And on top of that the mortat pit can 3-4 shot a MHT. A MHT can not 3 shot a mortar pit" in op, so why this thread now suddenly become: "not about the pit vs MHT" ???

And by the way, you must be AFK if the mortar pit kill your MHT.

They arn't death. They are still OP and can't be balanced because of how the game works. All emplacements are cancer and OP, on the other side they are shit.

MHT also hard counter bofor.
17pdr is a completely different story, it cost way more.
As far as we all know, MHT already hard counter 2 out of 3 UKF's core emplacements. Asking more is very nonsense.

Straight out removal of the 25% screams over reacting and pandering to wc19 complaints for ukf. What's wrong with a decrease to 10%?:(

Now that pyro sections will get used much more, durable mortar pits and auto barrage...

I hate to be conspiracy-ist, but the lightning reactions to allies feels like mod team is leaning more than fair.

They are OP by their stats, thet doesn't means they can't be countered.

Still OP by map-designs, can't be fixed because the hole game shouldn't be designed by stuff never should be added in game -> british fraction.

Edit: Many people and mod-teams tried to fix the emplacement situation, it isn't possible like you see. One option was to rempace it, give brits normal mortars with range deficit and give them the option for range-buff if garrisoned in the trench-emplacemnt brits can build non-doc. Would be an easy way, relic and patch-team decided for something else.

You dont know about the endless neft series UKF has been through from the release up to very currently. Cause again, you dont play UKF.

Brits should be removed, would be better for balance. The fraction is dead because the hole design isn't good, after years of picking nose the resources for a real fix are gone.

Edit: e.g. look at the new commander... the stuff shouldn't be in a commander, but non-doc. Why they didn't made it... ask the patch-team.
