And swap the bren damage profile with that of the BAR, while we're at it.

Pretty sure that would make Brits substantially less crippled than they currently are.

They are alright honestly for what they are supposed to do, they are just really shitty if the enemy waits behind cover already before you. This is a big issue of the entire brit faction actually in conjunction with a super predictable opening (they have no 0CP call-in units and no alternatives in the beginning)

I've said it before but 0CP ASSAULT SECTIONS CALL-IN SQUAD WHEN? :( (Lend Lease assault doctrine)
- spawn with 4 sten guns
- 0.8 RA
- replace the mills grenade with the commando smoke grenade, so now they have smoke and phosphorus nades (both get unlocked with mills package)
- can upgrade to 2 thompsons for 60mun
- "Bolster Squads" gives them a 5th man of course

or in the caseof sturms, walks at them out in the open. like legit... sturms can frontally engage dug in tommies, walk up under fire and win reliably. not saying sturms are op, but that tommies are not doing their job well enough if even in an ideal situation for tommies they can lose on the regular...

Now that their base stats have been toned down, reverting to the old 60 muni Brens might help them out a bit.

It's possible for the current Brens to make them worse.

By default, moving bren will be too much but may be a timer ability to allow them to do so will be reasonable enough? Something like 20 muni for 20 sec of firing bren on the move, with slight buff to moving accuracy to rifle on top of that.

"Advance snap shooting", i believe, is what British army call the technique of shooting on the move at that time.
