Utilising a strat or unit while acknowledging that it is broken/imbalanced does not amount to a double standard.
Mind you, virtually all top players, heck, the vast majority of top100 players, cheese and abuse to the max; but that does not make them hypocrites, until they complain about other people abusing while they do it themselves.

LOL there is a "slight" difference between using and ABusing unbalanced stuff. For example nobody would flame if u have 1 matress or one T70 on the field.. but if someone is literally spamming these things or has very much different units of this type on the field (e. g. penal spam and maxims and T70) and complaining at the same time how absolutely unfun it is to play against it....

A good player should use only a certain amount of this stuff --> the amount that he needs to win the game. Means, spamming OP crap is only legit if the play style of your opponent forces you to do it

On the other side: Abuse (--> using too much OP crap "without a reason") is either for trolls or for people who suck at this game
