This game clearly shows that ostheer have no chance against competent player that play with emplacements except if he went doctrine with mortar halftrack

PAKs, mortar, schrek squads, mortar HT, aggressive play (to prevent emplacements from being build), tanks, panzerwerfer, on map artillery, etc etc etc

Emplacements already feel useless enough, you can't say they're imba when you lose 1 game. You have to sit back and think how to improve yourself before you can blame the game outright.

How you want to use paks when mortar pit is behind house ? WIll you use it on braced bofors while you are shelled by 2 mortars and possibly also vickers ?

Mortar get hardcountered by both counterbattery ability and mortar pit

how you want to preven them for being build when UKF player starts the building after he gets his ground secured ? You cannot completely zone out UKF player when he have 3 IS 2 vickers and AT gun

Tanks get hardcountered by 2x AT gun and firefly rockets if they extend so much

Panzerwerfer does nothing because of brace.

So to sum it up only leiht and mortar halftrack can counter them

I still think emplacements in their current state aren't difficult to deal with. If you can't deal with them I think it's a L2P issue. But they are by no means frequently used in high level games (even so there are a few players who insist on using only them in top50, but they are trash players)

Findeed is really good player and he had no chance to counter my emplacements because he chose bad doctrine. I have to say findeed is better player than you. If you don´t believe me how hard time emplacements gave him look at the replay

Nice. It is so difficult to play as Ostheer vs simcity. Ostheer player must have sick APM plus good plan and Brit player just builds emplacements and can eat lunch while playing.

In another life, Nosliw was a top COH1 player, despite the fact he always sees things back-to-front.

Have you built many emplacements in your last 5 games as Brits?

No I haven´t, I don´t like them. But still his poor doctrinal choice gave him hard time dealing with them

I was OST versus his Soviet on Caen. Hector you seem to be making a habit of making unjustified claims...

Also, what do you mean I see things back to front?

Alright, I think we should close our argument before it turns into something bigger. I will not change your mind, Nosliw about how emplacements aren´t OP because you are right up to a point that if you chose a good doctrtine and build order, you will counter emplacements.

But you won´t also change my mind that if ostheer player went for example mech assault and assgrens, then he will have really hard time countering them

That's the prove that Finndeed is bad player or sim city is easy to deal as Ostheers? Seems legit

? Why are you getting involved? If you read properly you may have seen that Hector said this game shows that emplacements are broken, even so they are non-existent in high level matches, and then he said I am worse than Findeed as a player, and if the only game him and I have ever played against one another I won, how could that be true either? Saying that Hector is wrong and has no proof or logic to back up his claims doesn't mean I'm saying Findeed is bad or Sim City is "easy" to deal with. I'm just saying that it's impossible to say he's better than me without any proof, and that Sim City is beatable, and that this replay can't prove it's broken.
