Hey guys, just played a few matches as Soviet vs ostheer players, one of which on crossing in the woods. Since 222 is a little diffecult to deal with i decided to give urban defensive docterine a few shot, and suprisingly it worked quite well. (for now im just going to focus on ostheer as opponent and not OKW)

What urban defense allows you to do is go for a tier 1 sniper build as soviet, when you normally do this you get hard countered by a 222 or by a luchs. But urban defense gets you a small 45mm AT gun at 2 CP. So you can deal with the infantry with you tier 1 sniper and halftrack (if you decide to get one). and AT nades + mines + the small AT gun will counter the light armor suprisingly well. A big factor in the succes is also the suprise element, what ost player expects to play vs urban defense right?

I know crossing on the woods isn't the perfect map for this doc because of the little amount of houses for FHQ, but still good enough to try it out on. I really would like people to experiment with this, because i think since the 222 update it really opens a new opperunity.

PS. this was not the best match that showcases the usage of the doc, but just to show the impact on a 222 player
