Think twice ya'll about driving into the enemy base and suiciding something...At this point I'm rather certain there is a 50% chance of abandonment in base sectors rather than the much lower normal probability elsewhere.

I'm pretty sure the high abandonment chance is because of Guards. I'm not 100% sure how abandonment works but I'm pretty sure it's caused by the damage of the killing blow being the same as the health remaining or something like that. Regardless the lower the damage the higher the chance to abandon, so you're more likely to see PTRS rifles, T-70 gun or upgunned German scout car get the abandon. Not that either of those 3 get vehicle kills very often though because they're AT isn't very good.
