Finally some multiplayer info!

Looks like matchmaking are gonna be rage inducing in CoH 2 as well. Yey.

That was a really good read. Very interesting stuff. I like how they are working hard on the replay analysis, the stuff they have got down sounds very good to me :) also the rewards that one can unlock from playing can extend the lifetime of this game. Interesting that you can select what kind of perks that you want to take into battle, I guess we'll have to see how that plays out, hopefully they can be balanced but we'll see when more details come out. Looks like one can scout by using crow's nests which act like those scouting towers in SC2, there still needs to be a way to see behind corners than just throwing some cannon fodder. This game is shaping up to be a good one :D

By crows nest i am pretty sure it meant any building :P Doubt they would put anything like that in the game like from SC2.

But looking at that Ui bit i see 5 abilities..

1) something with a truck, possibly resources ?
2)Looks like the terror officer, perhaps some sort of replacement unit for the officer ? Thus also confirming the officer back in CoH2
3)Airstrike
5)artillery strike
6) Tiger tank, probably unlocking it in a building.

Nice read indeed. Good newb input: It's fun even when you lose.

The part about the multiplayer stats features sound very nice to me. That was the biggest and best bit in that article for me.

Screenshots of some unknown units( to me at least) like the Elefant and a Brummbär(?) were also nice.

I'm still sceptical about unlocks and commanders. In CoH:online this feature was rather weak and opened the door for various imbalances.

Overall, thanks for the link and upload!

On one hand I'm slightly relieved that you don't go into a match blind with one set Commander, but on the other hand as a complete replacement to Doctrines it still sounds underwhelming.

If the high level commanders are OP (and knowing Relic's balancing skills, they're almost certainly going to be either OP or underpowered) then you'd better hope it's easy to unlock them or that you preordered the collector's edition for the XP boost. And if that unique commander archetype from the collector's edition is OP that's going to suck too.
