Just like the pervious issue, this tournament will feature custom maps. Again by our Mapmakers under the consultations by some of the best players in the game. For this second season, VonIvan, DevM, Theo and Talisman have provided their experiences on the grim frontlines to help create a new set of maps.

The 8-16 best players will be selected after the sign ups have closed. Those players will compete in the tournament, except 4 players who will be reserves in case a player cannot make it.
This cup is a qualifier, where the top 3 players will be seeded for the finals in May. Do note that a point system will be used. Losses are 0 points, draws 1 points and wins awards 3 points. Everybody starts at 0.

Map Vetoes and Faction Selection
BO2:
- Game 1: The player with the least points gets the map AND faction selection first. If the players are tied in points, then a coin toss will decide the picker.
- In case of a coin toss: The loser chooses their faction AND chooses the map.
- In case of a coin toss: The loser chooses their faction AND chooses the map.
- Game 2: Players swap Allied/ Axis and play same map as G1. The player that chose faction in game 1 second, now chooses his faction first.

- Lateness may result in VP penalties or worse depending on the referees/organizers decision.
- Players are required to schedule their series on their own time (as long as it is before the deadlines posted in the SMC discord after the brackets go live.
- Match fixing is disallowed.
- Please restart CoH2 before any tournament game activity, and close external programs before playing, to avoid crashes.
- Bugsplats: If there is a bugsplat within 7 minutes the game will be replayed, assuming no player suffered huge losses. Example: Player 1 "bugsplats" after 5 min after losing his whole army except one pioneer. In such a case the referees/organisers make a decision of what will happen. If there is a bugsplat after 7 minutes the referees/organisers will do either one of these things:
- If both teams agree, the game will be replayed.
- If both teams don't agree and if there is a clear winner according to the referees/organizers, then a win will be given. In case there isn't a clear winner the referees/organizers will make a decision of what is going to happen.
However, the player that bugsplatted has to screenshot the crash with windows time/date showing! If this doesn't happen within 5 minutes the referees/organizers are allowed to give the win to the team that didn't bugsplat. - If both teams agree, the game will be replayed.
- If there is any sign of cheating during the games, contact the referees/organizers. They will decide what happens.
- As a player, you must show respect for your opponents and the referees. Bad behaviour may be punished.
- Chatting during a game is forbidden. One may exchange a "GLHF", "GG", or similar if appropiate. But please keep the chat clean as the games will be casted from the replays. Failure to do so may result in a loss or worse at the discretion of the referees and organizers.
- Report that your series was played in the SMC discord! Referees/organizers will insert the scores on challonge after they are cast on Sunday, the website on which the brackets will be view-able as well. The links to the brackets will be given after the sign-ups end and before the tournament starts!
It is up to the players to upload their matches and notify the referees in the SMC discord. Upload all games, and link them to this thread. If you do not upload the series you have played, no point will be awarded and it will be counted as not showing up and playing for BOTH players. So it is recommended that both players save the replays.
Please upload the replays with this format:
SMCS: Round (e.g. R1, R2, etc.) ; Game (e.g. G1, G2, G3, etc.), Your name - Opponents name
Use the Insert Replay function in the reply editor to link your replays: that is the button to the right of the Twitch icon.
In the event that only one player shows up for check-ins for a round, that player is awarded 1 point and the opposing player is awarded 0 points. If this occurs twice during the month, the no-show player is disqualified.

Prizes
If you want to donate to this tournament, click here and if you want to help fund it monthly you can click this: SMC patreon!
You need a valid Paypal account to receive the money from the prize pool, so if you do not have a Paypal account, make sure to create one before entering this tournament!
The prize pool for both tournaments will be divided as follows:
- 1st Place: 25%
- 2nd Place: 15%
- 3rd Place: 10%
The remaining 50% carries over to fund the finals in May. The finals will therefore have a larger pay out because of this while the previous 2 months are used as qualifiers. Or that was the plan, but due to time constraints, we are going to have only 1 month.
Games will be casted each Sunday by Tric. If you want to know when he is broadcasting those games , then please follow Tric on twitch and keep an eye on the ticker of COH2.ORG on the days the games are played!
