Battleplanner
For this tournament, we will be using the 2v2 version of the GCS Battleplanner! A big thank you to Qvazar for making a 2v2 version! The link to the battleplanner app will be added later, it is almost finished!
The battleplanner app will use the following rules.
Map Vetoes and Faction Selection
First, the teams will do a coin toss on the battleplanner. The winner of may either pick the map or the side (Axis or Allies). Obviously, the loser gets the remaining option. Before picking the sides and then the factions, the teams will pick the map.
Remember to tally your victory points from every win. Losses doesn't count. This will be used for game 5 if the match lasts that long.
An important thing to know is that you can only see if your opponent picked Allies or Axis. You can't see the actual factions that your enemy is playing with until everybody chose their factions in the battleplanner. In this way we can assure that people will not just counter pick certain factions.
BO5:
- Game 1: As mentioned before, the coin is tossed. The winner has their pick of map or side (Axis or Allies), while the loser has what remains. The map is then picked first. Then the sides and factions.
- Game 2: The teams switch sides and play on the same map.
- Game 3: The loser of the coin toss picks side or map, just like the winner did in Game 1.
- Game 4: The teams switch sides and play on the same map as game 3.
- Game 5: The team with the greatest number of victory points from games 1-4 picks their side. (Victory points from a defeat do NOT count.) If by some miracle, the VPs are tied, then the teams will toss a coin. The winner picks their side. The map will be the highest listed one which hasn't been played yet. The list is found further below.

Map Pool
The order of the maps here is also how the maps will be seeded in the battleplanner.
- Elst Outskirts
- Crossing in the Woods
- Rails and Metal
- Vaux Farmlands
Other Details
- Not being on time can result in VP penalities or other sanctions. The decision rests with the referees.
- There will be 5 minute breaks between games, but in extreme cases, one may ask the referees for a longer break.
- As a team, you must show respect for your opponents and the referees. Bad behaviour may be punished.
- The seeding is done by the organisers. The seeding is final. It will be done with great care and with the opinions of various people.
- Match fixing - including not playing to full potential against clanmates - is disallowed and will result in a disqualification.
- Please restart CoH2 before any tournament games and close external programmes before playing, to avoid crashes.
- Bugsplats: If there is a bugsplat in the first 7 minutes of the game, it will be replayed, unless the game heavily favours one side. Example: Player 1 "bugsplats" after 5 min, having lost his whole army except one pioneer.
- For Bugsplates after 7 minutes, the referees will do either one of these things:
- If both teams agree, the game will be replayed.
- If both teams disagree to replay and if there is a clear winner according to the referees, that team will be given the win. Otherwise, the referees will make a decision of what is going to happen.
- If both teams agree, the game will be replayed.
- However, the player that bugsplatted has to screenshot the crash with windows time/date showing! If this doesn't happen within 5 minutes, the referees are allowed to give the win to the team that didn't bugsplat.
- If there is any sign of cheating during the games, contact the referees.
- Report your scores in the Steam group chat for the referees to insert on Challonge.
- Check-ins are to be done in the Steam group chat! The check-ins start as stated in the time table.
Uploading Replays
The winners of a match must upload all games and link them into this thread. You run the risk of being banned from future events if you do not upload the games! Do not forget!
Please upload the replays with this format::
UTT / Round(R1, R2, etch.) / Game Number(G1, G2, or G3) / Your Name - Opponent's Name)
Here is an example of how you should post your replays in the thread:
Use the Insert Replay function in the reply editor to link your replays: that is the button to the right of the Twitch icon.
Substitute Teams
A substitute team will take your place if you fail to show up within 10 minutes after your round has started.
After the qualification rounds are played, a seeding will be made from the teams that lost in the round. The highest seed of that list is sub number 1, the second number 2, etc..
If a team fails to show up for their round in the actual tournament (or can't play) then one of these substitute teams will join.
