Artists! COH2.ORG needs you!

The Artist positions are for people who can picture an epic scene in their head, and make it into reality: news highlights, tourney and casting splash screens, guide illustrations, and videos. Every single picture on this website has a creative mind behind it, and we need more of them!

Your tasks:

The usual work for our Artists is to provide images for portal content, particularly "highlight images." However, this is not the only canvas which needs paint. If a Strategist needs help with images for a new Soviet Guide, illustrating tactical movement etc., we will need you there to assist with the art. If our Casters and Referees are organizing a new tournament format, or are hosting an event and need a banner, or brackets for illustration, an Artist will be there to help them. We are also constantly expanding our features and styling. If you have any skills in Video editing this would be very helpful, because videos gain a lot more attention these days when announcing something big!

Here is a list of things you ideally need to be an Artist on COH2.ORG:

• Good skills in graphic design, using professional 2D design software like Adobe Photoshop, and/or Illustrator, and/or GIMP. This means we want you to be able to do more than just adding some text, strokes or blending options to existing graphics.
  
• If you have skills in Video editing you will be a welcome addition to the Staff as well. Currently we don't have the manpower to create Videos for our Social Media.
  
• You will be create new and unique highlight designs for our portal content, and for Videos of varying purposes.
  
• Time! Images and Videos are often the bottleneck for new portal content and Social Media Announcements, so our Artists have to be responsive and be able to provide pictures within a reasonable time frame!
  
• Powerful computer hardware would be a bonus, because it will allow you to take your own high quality in-game screenshots and videos for your content.

In your application, please provide us with some information about yourself and any experience with graphic design. If you have an online portfolio, please supply the link. If you have any questions about the role, please also ask TM.Dutchy, who will be happy to help you. If you have been a Staff Artist before and have the time to resume, we will be happy to hear from you.

When you are accepted, you will join a staff team which is passionate about the Company of Heroes franchise and its community. You will have access to the Staff forums, and can become an integral part of where the magic happens!
