To conclude:
We need more ESL to weeklies to figure out the USF/UKF win rates and balance
But it's interesting how Soviets seem to be the strongest faction. I think it's due to them having a relatively balanced early mid and late game in terms of potential aggressive tactics. Might mean that USF/UKF should have been designed differently/should be redesigned. The alternative is to adjust unit stats all around but that's difficult with five factions.
Of course, it's silly to draw overarching balance discussions based on this data for all factions, hence the necessity for more ESL cups. )))))))))

Yeah Soviet and USF are super balanced, LOL. Ostheer is just most fun to play I guess. But tweak maxims and tweak M10 crush and it winratios would be a lot better.

This is outstanding data! If you're considering doing more analysis I think comparing faction match-ups on various maps would be especially insightful! Of course I can imagine that would be a lot of work. Still I feel it would be really helpful information towards map balance.

Someone did that already a couple of months ago, in the midst of ESL. May have been the OP, I cannot remember.

This will be covered in part II, which should come up shortly. Part III then will be commander choices.

You probably mean this post, which I did using a little less than half the games that are included in the OP. It contains map picks and how well the factions did on the maps, but no matchups per map.

If only there was a statistics base for 2v2 as well. Might start to understand balance then, or lack thereof.
