The Star Crossed Cup 2 Ends
It was a bit of a bumpy ride but the second Star Crossed Cup has come to an end. Thanks to all who stepped up to compete, and congratulations to the winner Jesulin! The tournament had its fair share of surprises. Despite Rifle Company and Elite Troops being allowed, they were not picked a single time. In their stead, we saw victories from German Infantry, Soviet Industry, or no commander at all!
Things really started heating up when Round 3 began. It kicked off with one of the longest games of Company of Heroes 2 that I have ever seen.
Jesulin lost the game but won the series, and went on to face Paul in the finals. 600 people showed up to watch them fight for the title of Star Crossed Cup Champion!
All the rest of my coverage of the tournament can be found here. Special thanks to Tightrope and Siberian for picking up games from the tournament to cast! Check out their past broadcasts to see even more games from the tournament.
Relic Entertainment showed up to the finals as well, and was very supportive of the entire event. Thanks again to everyone who signed up, and hopefully we can make the next Star Crossed Cup even better!
