The observation about S-mines against flamer upgraded engies was really great. Such a simple way to punish flamers (even more with T1 built) yet I haven't ever really even thought about it.

Permanently BannedClass, we need more such articles and explanation and motivation of the players in such a short interview. I like to read a football analyst and long-awaited similar articles for COH2. Thanks guys.

This is wonderful! I feel like articles like this can really open the eyes of players who are looking to get a deeper understanding of the game. On top of that, having any sort of analysis of top players by top players only furthers the incentive to get better, because someone who might struggle in dealing with a particular strat can learn from it and feel less frustrated when playing against it.
I also like that there were some comments on the recent tourneys and ladder play. This sort of casual discussion helps keep people involved with the top players and what is going on in the competitive scene.

Germans need to spend many munitions in early game to counter this strat. Faust,medic... This strat is really smart, m3a1 with free shot,mobility and flame.

Fast M3 with soviet is cheat.
Axis have 0 counter before a long time.
Tiers for axis with the patch for more fuel is a problem.
Maxim spam work, M3 is easy to spam at begin and axis can say bye bye to the mapcontrol.
It's the same problem with t-34/85s at 9 cp, they need to be 10-11 cp compare to axis's tiers.
With the patch, axis building cost more but they didn't change cp for t-34/85s and guard too, that's the problem + maxim spam work and M3 rape at the game actually because german have no counter before a long long time.

Well my focus was on the stacked euro bracket, all things considered that one is probably three times as hard as the NA one, and we should be both glad we are not in it.

It works, but only to a point: Minesweepers and/or mortars can make quick work of the S mines,not to mention SU heavies, which trample all over the sodding stuff like rutting water buffalo, setting the S mines off like firecrackers,without any apparent harm.
