I also like that there were some comments on the recent tourneys and ladder play. This sort of casual discussion helps keep people involved with the top players and what is going on in the competitive scene.
Well written, I would love to see more articles like this from coh2.org. Please make it happen! Keep up the good work guys!

Axis have 0 counter before a long time.
Tiers for axis with the patch for more fuel is a problem.
Maxim spam work, M3 is easy to spam at begin and axis can say bye bye to the mapcontrol.
It's the same problem with t-34/85s at 9 cp, they need to be 10-11 cp compare to axis's tiers.
With the patch, axis building cost more but they didn't change cp for t-34/85s and guard too, that's the problem + maxim spam work and M3 rape at the game actually because german have no counter before a long long time.
Sorry if my english is bad.
PS : They need to increase fuel for M3 too, because actually you can rush them after some second like with industry long time ago.

P.S. You forgot about me in the NA bracket, but that's not important.

OMGPOP, classy as always. Good read, would love more.

Well my focus was on the stacked euro bracket, all things considered that one is probably three times as hard as the NA one, and we should be both glad we are not in it.

True story.

The observation about S-mines against flamer upgraded engies was really great. Such a simple way to punish flamers (even more with T1 built) yet I haven't ever really even thought about it.
It works, but only to a point: Minesweepers and/or mortars can make quick work of the S mines, not to mention SU heavies, which trample all over the sodding stuff like rutting water buffalo, setting the S mines off like firecrackers, without any apparent harm.

Hype for COH2 ladder, ESL, and CEVO Alienware. Can't wait! Game on.

"Jonathan "Cataclaw" Åström, This maverick young commander has risen through the ranks quickly after the release of CoH2. He famously beat Lollipop live on stream in the game's first months and shocked many in his aggressive command and cut-throat tactics. Beating his opponents in straight games, he's undefeated in the field of combat and a very real threat to his opponents when they draw swords."
I wrote that in one of the write ups for my last reddit tourney, it's funny that Cataclaw keeps using it!
