Very excited about this tournament.

I do sincerely hope they reconsider the maplist tho, Grand Finals on Minsk and LangWinter (the two absolutely least liked 1v1 maps according to this poll) would be a shame.

I also hope that the brackets will be seeded by someone who knows the scene, although double-elimination format pretty much insures that we'll see the two best players in the finals

They didn't say, no, but you can assume it either has to do with tax law difficulties or gambling law difficulties.

I'm a legal resident of the United States and Denmark. Can I play in both divisions and, if I win, will they deliver my prizes as a bathtub filled with money?

Hype! This tourney is going to be awesome, and probably enough motivation for me to automatch and scrim 1v1 consistently.

Very hyped about this event, both to participate in it and to actually see 1v1 tournaments popping up.

Round of 64 is set to start in 8 days. Has anybody heard anything about whether or not this event will be streamed?

Anybody heard anything about whether or not they are considering improving the maps for the finals? The fact that they picked the two absolute least favorite 1v1 maps amongst players leads me to believe that someone is having a laugh. Could it just be a coincidence???

Help us improve the map pool! Please post in this thread: http://cevo.com/forums/topic/8584/company-of-heroes-2/-staff-alienware-arena-cup-map-pool/

Even a "+1" would be great!
