ESL Weekend 2on2 Cup #3

The ESL 2v2 Weekend Cup is on its way! Thanks to our very good friends over at the Electronic Sports League, we're proud to announce to you their third upcoming 2v2 Weekend Cup. This is the third edition of this tournament, so if you missed out last time make sure you sign up and avoid missing out on the action. Be sure to get your names in quick as there will only be 16 teams able to participate.

• Scheduled start is on Saturday 26th April 2014 at 17:00 GMT

Map & Faction Choice

For this tournament, the map veto system will be used to determine which map the round will be played on. Individuals will take turns in vetoing maps until there is only one remaining. That remaining map will be the one used for the whole match.

Contestants on the left hand segment of the match lobby will play as Soviets in the first game, then as Ostheer in the second game. If a third deciding game is necessary, faction choice will go to the team with the best Victory Point score.

Selected games from the tournament will be streamed on http://www.twitch.tv/sundaynightfights starting Saturday at 1900h GMT (2000h BST/2100h CEST). Shoutcasts by IpKaiFung and AmiPolizeiFunk. The Finals will air on Sunday at 2000h CEST (1900h BST).
