COH2.ORG is launching the very first Company of Heroes 2 Avatar gallery. This means that you can chose any of the pictures in the gallery and make it your avatar.
Look at these bad boys! They're totally and utterly fabulous! Can you tell we like them?
If you want to use one of the photos, you go to your profile, change avatar and you should be greeted with the screen below this paragraph. From there you can choose whichever unit portrait you want.
The photo that I told you about in the paragraph above this screen
At the minute, you can choose any infantry avatar you want, with vehicle avatars coming in the near future. I have to say, the work put into the pics is amazing. I think Strummingbird deserves all the kudos he can get. (If you would like to make a donation to the Swiss bank account, please don't hesitate in contacting me with your bank details)
Even though they are the filthy enemy, they are looking pretty handsome in those uniforms
So if you're looking for a new avatar and love Company of Heroes like we do (Hopefully you do; you are on a COH website after all) feel free to take one of the amazing images from the gallery.
Now that everyone's avatars will be respectable pictures of COH2 units, and not, say, drunken cats, we have introduced a search bar! Thanks to Janne252, who coded in the search function, if you feel the need to search for a person, but you don't know where they last posted and your digital stalking skills are lacking, fear no longer! Just hover over our logo in the top left and click on "Search Site Members", where you can enter a name browse their profile, or maybe just take a nice scroll through the 5000 odd members, if you really have too much time on your hands.
How to access the search members function
A fine example of the search function, being used to stalk the admins. But who'd want to stalk them?
It's all well and good searching only by name, but what if you don't know their name? What If you only know that they are dashingly handsome, a writer and Irish? No problem! You can search by both country and groups(Staff, Developers and members) so you will have found the unknown Irish sexbomb you were looking for in no time at all.
Not only that, you can sort the results by Name, Group, Registration time (if set to public), Last Visit (if set to public), Total post count, Total shout count, Country (if set to public), and ID. In other words, if you can't find who you're looking for, you're on the wrong site.
