SNF S04E06: Twister vs. Fir3ball Dec.23rd @8pm GMT

Following the Third Quali Tourney last Sunday we're now ready for the Third Contender Bout. You may be familiar with the household names of Company of Heroes, like DevM, KoreanArmy, Sepha, and the other big boys who regularly breeze through their opponents to own the spotlight on the grand stage. That is how the story is meant to go, right? Wrong! The Third Quali Tourney saw the greatest upsets of any Company of Heroes tournament since hrpuffnstuff got through to the finals in the summer of 2007. This resulted in the relatively unknown Twister going through to face off against the experienced SNF player Fireball.

The winner of this Bout will be the third to move on to the overall Final Four, set to compete again in the Semi-Finals in Week 10. The loser will have to take his game back to the drawing board. His consolation prize is the opportunity to accept the #1 seed in the Fourth Qauli Tourney, which takes place on December 30th. Open sign-ups for the Fourth Quali Tourney will go live on Binary Beast at 8pm GMT this Sunday! Don't miss the start of Sunday Night Fights, also at 8pm GMT! This is also the last qualifier tournament for Sunday Night Fights Season 4. If you don't make it through this time, you'll have to wait until COH2 to show your skills in bright lights of the SNF ring.

The Third Quali Tourney was by far and away the most shocking and intense tournament we've seen on Sunday Night Fights this season. Seemingly out of nowhere, the mighty DevM fell to Twister, who then went on to a brutal series against KoreanArmy, which he managed to scrape through. Undeterred by the length and difficulty of beating two of the SNF favourites, he was able to beat ShevuNoLuckyStrike in another grueling Best-of-Three series. If you didn't get the chance to see these games then you missed out big time! Luckily for you, COH2.ORG's youtube channel has the whole series. Make sure to get yourself some popcorn and a drink beforehand though because neither of these guys gives up a game easily!

Fireball had a typical run for him, easily dispatching his opponents up until the casted series. Then he had to face a completely unknown player, who was on the greatest streak of his life. Bjarkey, who had previously competed in the Second Quali Tourney and fallen in the first round, must have had his spinach before he played last Sunday. He beat Jeep in the first round, he played an immaculate Wehrmacht game to take down the legendary Sepha in the second round and then fought through Freestyler. Unfortunately for Bjarkey, his hot streak came to an abrupt halt as Fireball dismantled him in both games and proved why he is a regular on Sunday Night Fights.






Episode Six of Sunday Night Fights will be hosted by the voice of Company of Heroes AmiPolizeiFunk and his co-host, the trademarked Yoink. This week they will be joined by Symbiosis, who has already qualified for the final four of this season of Sunday Night Fights. Symbi, as he is affectionately known by AmiPolizeiFunk, will be providing expert analysis on the games and perhaps sharing some of his tips and tricks on how to win on the big stage.

Fireball is a fan-favourite, top class, top tier player. He is facing off against Twister, who by comparison is a complete rookie, a new-comer, a young pretender. Seemingly Fireball should breeze through the Best-of-Five series and take an easy win but after all of the recent upsets, it could get very interesting. Can David bury the rock in Goliath's eye?
