Well written guide overall, but I disagree on certain aspects of it.

I thought that the paratroopers were one of the best allround infantry units in the game if they are equipped with LMGs or SMGs.

probably he says that because riflemen can be ur core inf and are really exceptional u really dont need any other inf, just invest on vehicles.

I thought that the paratroopers were one of the best allround infantry units in the game if they are equipped with LMGs or SMGs.

What I meant by that is that paratroopers aren't as versatile as rifles and the fact that you have to go for a commander that for the most part is pretty bad (P47 ability is the only worth while one) means that you suffer a lot mid game from it. The infantry itself stats wise isn't bad, it's actually pretty good, but they don't offer nearly as much combat options as the rifles do and since rifles got buffed recently for me there's no reason to choose them over rifles.

Thank you for your answer. Now I understand what you mean. I agree that the paratrooper commander isn't that good compared to some other commanders, but I like the P-47 strike, especially in team games with lots of enemy tigers and panthers. I also like the paratroopers because I can kill enemy infantry in close combat with their effective SMGs, and that they are not so expensive for a 6 man squad.

The way people act in this community is ridiculous. DevM literally proved that USF is a viable tourney faction after everyone mocked them for being "underpowered". All the so called "top players" can learn from this guide.

Imo certain people in this community fear that they might lose their status to people like aimstrong and devm this would explain their behaviour towards them and everyone who doesn't agree with it. I tried to express my opinion once in siberians stream by saying something like "DevM has a point though" and people acted like I insulted their ancestors lmao. The truth is that most coh2 "top players" can learn a LOT from the old vcoh veterans. The only person that has played on a similar level was Jesulin on his peak and maybe to a certain extent luvnest.
