Nice guide, have tried To make the abilty work many Times. But imo as long as the ability is glitched and doesnt give you a squad upon losing 4 Soldiers its not Worth the munitions

Alays nice to see a new strategy like this added to the site.
I went up against a similar strategy recently and beat it using KV-8s. It was interesting, though. I might give it a try though I'm not overly familiar with the Ostruppen. How do they stack up compared to Soviet Irregulars (whom I find quite useless)?

Osttruppen are really weak. Calling them in for 200 manpower from the Osttruppen doctrine really sucks. Getting 3 squads for 90 munitions seems like a pretty sweet idea. In numbers they pack a decent punch. The advantage I see in this strategy is having a ton of units to harass unguarded territory with. Then they flank in from behind and sacrifice them self for a game changing faust.

I really think they should either buff Ostruppen a little combat wise or at least lower their price on the Ostruppen commander from 200mp to something like 160 to make them a viable opening unit over the 240mp grens.

Thanks to James for rewritting and editting my crappy original text.
And thanks to Ohme for the illustration.
Here a replay for those interested in how it can look in action.
would be cool if some one could cast it
