Great tip as always, MonolithicBacon. This tip deserves a frosty one, if you know what I mean.

I've followed this step by step, double checked over and over, yet im still getting the thick snow on my map. I have made my settings identical to MonolithicBacon's, but there is still thick snow instead of the frosty touch.
EDIT: Fixed the problem. You may want to add in the guide that a deep snow height of 0.05 will create the frost effect described here in the guide. Maybe it is a typo but .25 will give you traditional deep snow height and be too dense for a frost effect. Cheers!
