Consider that Command Panther can focus fire on enemy vehicles + increase the sight it still good in 1vs1 if before that you have a puma ( come on, you can't play 1vs1 as OKW without a puma right ? wait right ? ).
But well, I still rather go for the Jadtiger commander to get the panzerfusiller and officer. It's just in my opinion,most of his ability is costly on muni and only worth using some of them.
I rather have a scout unit so my Ober can shoot and a officer to give accuracy boost
In 2vs2 Command panther is really good cause it's also buff your teammate tanks. Trust me, Tiger buddy love that .
Question:
- Does it only increase sight radius and movement or also increase accuracy or something ? Cause I see something like a cross-hair on friendly tank when my command panther is near by.
- Does Command Panzer from Ostheer commander also raise defend for teammate tank or just only for himself ?

Well I'm the same as you mostly play 2vs2 but lately I also do play 1vs1. I also feel the same like you about the terrible design: They should just make the Volksgrenadier better, be the same as Grenadier than it will be ok to nerf down Ober. As a OKW player now I got no choice but to mess around and wait until Ober come out because simply all of my infantry is just weak and costly. At the moment I rather have a costly Ober but can surely cut down enemy then having volks that need to depend on using grenade. What about you guys ? Do you feel the same that they should buff the Volks then weaker the Ober a bit or keep it the same right now ? Volks is just something to carry panzersherck, throw grenade and die so sturmpiooner can safely attack and wait for Ober ? In: COH2 Balance |

Why don't they bring back the old system in COH1 that let you: - Play 2vs2, 3vs3 and 4vs4 with random people against random team only - play 2vs2, 3vs3 and 4vs4 with your friends against enemy pre-team only ? is this because the COH2 players are too low ? Man I'm not really sure how is that nerfed the AA Halftrack ? Reduced armor ? As a Ostheer players, getting a Pak gun out in 5 mins is something quite.... hard when US rifleman is still better. This patch is good if you play OKW but not Ostheer in 1vs1. But well cheers, no more annoying volley fire! at least we get rid of 1 thing! And HE sherman will make sherman worth using ! Right now before the next patch come out, you can easily kill every OKW infantry on early game isn't it ?
Like I said, if you fail to finish the OKW players in 1vs1 early then that's why you lost. But heck, if they buff the Volks to be at least the same as Grenadier then fine, nerf the ober. - Sturmpiooner even with great damage will shit themself against Rear Echelon volley - Volks is a joke. - Panzerfusiller can't hold out that much and it's doctrine. - Falls is good but that's a doctrine unit and only has 1.0 armor. with some grenade upgrade and BAR it's easy to deal with them. Right now in 2vs2, Ober is my favorite unit as OKW. With a nice Puma support, this unit can almost clear out the field. 3 of them can take down enemy MG no sweat and even Rifleman Vet 3 with M1918 LMG have a hard time against Ober. Now that I ain't gonna say " OMG OP " and bullshit but consider this unit come in late and no anti tank power, this is fair for them when the US could have BAR, M1918 and Rus can have Shock or Guards with DP wayyyy ealier then OKW. This unit is right where it should be, no need to tweak anything. Allies players might want to use combine arms force like Rifleman + HMG .50cal / Shock/Guards with MG to deal with them. if you think about blob against blob then think again. If you fail to take down OKW fast then it's your problem . In: COH2 Balance |

Today I fought against OKW and win. After the game end, I decied to stay back and play a little more to see if my man can win against them head to head USF has: - 3 Rifleman vet 2 and 3 ( All equip with 6 BAR ) - 1 Rear Echelon ( 2 BAR ) - 1 Major ( 2 Bazooka ) - 1 Paratroopers with LMG upgdate ( 2 M1918 LMG ) - 1 Pathfinder ( 2 BAR ) With all of those firepower, I run straight into the Obersoldaten force: - 2 Obersoldaten vet 1 and 2, no MP44 update and are in yellow cover. - 1 sturmpiooner vet 2 stand next to them. The only thing left alive is the 3 mans from the paratroopers and 1 rifleman. OMG thanks god I did not run into them when the game still fight or I would have lost. Consider that this unit come in late but with 1.5 armor and the killing MG34, it would be best to have a MG with you if you gonna infantry vs infantry or have a tank to back you up..... Remembers when you or your friends got crappy internet and make the whole games lag ? Remember that vote kick was still in COH2 ? I remember cause I was the one who got bad internet after all. You guys remember about the time 222 was a useless piece of shit, shock run straight into your mom and fucked shit up ? Sniper in scout car was the boss ? Or about IS2 and ISU wiped infantry squad in 1 shot ? Panzerwerfel and katchusa was something always use in 2vs2 ? Man, that was a long time ago. Many things has change to be better and other turns to be worst. But today I'm not here to speak about the current state of balance. No no, fuck that shit - I'm not a expert looking at numbers. I'm here to talk about the basic thing of COH2: How it could be better in my opinion. ---------------------------------------------------------------- [Main Part] - User interface - Reminder: I'm not a designer, not a game developer. It doesn't cost much place on the screen isn't it ? - In my personal opinion, I think that keeping all the space for those promoted video and " BUY NOW " , get free faceplate is a waste. As a gamer, I rather see what's the change in COH2. isn't it better for me to log in the game and see the changelog rather than steam start to update my game and I need to get into the forum ? - Advertisement Sector is still OK but make it smaller. - Keep a " news " sector just like in the first COH1. you can keep us noted about game updates, when you gonna close down the sever for maintain, show units profiles or something. I mean some players just start the game from desktop, not steam. Doing a new sector will be better for everybody to see news about COH2. [ Open the picture in another tab for bigger version ] - I think the radar thing is a waste of screen and should be replace with the game match chat. Sure, it only show us that the game is searching but isn't a better way for you to do it ? - Make a tab on the upper right so when the players have done vetoes the maps and waiting for auto match, they can talk to other players not in friend-list in the global chat. That's the best way to make new friend isn't it ? ( Just like COH1 ) - Also a built in leader-board help the players to see who was his previous enemies. - When you are in custom game lobby, the 2 options " Leader-boards " and " Global chat " will still be available and just click to use it. [ Open the picture in another tab for bigger version ] - The way Army Customize design right now is bad. Why not make them into category so it's easier to check ? ------------------------------------- - game performance - I don't think I'm the only one right now that feel COH2 performance is bad. - It took so long to load for me or my enemies ( It usually at the last 2 bullets ). When we in the game it said my settings are too high when it the vCOH2, I can run 4vs4 fine on those settings. - Sometimes the game got 20 seconds delay and that's bad, very bad. - Sometimes the game stop for a moment then resume again. It could also mean the dead of my squad O_O. - Sometimes when I told my squad to get in the house for some reason they stand next to it? - At the moment when you done watch replay the game will just freeze at the loser base ( maybe because of the new victory strike ? ) - Right now I can put 2 same bulletins that I got from warspoil into my loadout ? ( Look at my previous picture, 1 of the guy got 2 Engineer 4% in the loadout ) ------------------------------------- - small ideals - - Volksgrenadier would be nice to have a leader with a different uniform or carry a MP44 ( like somebody mention in the balance sector ) ---------------------------------------------------------------- [ Ending ] So, like I said: This post is not about balance or talking trash about the game. This is one of the problem that I'm not really sure: - is this the AT nade from COH1 where you can just move out of the range to get away ? - or is this the AT nade from COH2 where it turn into a heat seeking missile that 100% target hit ? I'm not really sure how this shit works to be frankly? Many times I find it hard to see if it even working or not because my squad doesn't act like using it ( When in vCOH2, Grenadiers or Conscript will do some animation before shooting ). Sometimes I use it and nothing happens to the enemy vehicles. Now I find it not scary to run my ostwind and keep going cause that AT nade doesn't appear to be working. If I make my tank stand still then it may works. - If you say it's like COH1 then please make panzerfaust/Russian AT nade to be the same please. I got angry that sometimes I got a puma in my Rifleman's AT nade range and that shit back away with no problem at all. - If you say it's like COH2 and it just a bug then would you mind fixing it ? Fast ? I see you patched this game with 750mb ( Just to fix the Raketenwerfer if your changelog say that's all but I guess that video where you jump from the sky is a big ass video too lol ) then explain how is this AT nade works.
