1. Tournament formula
1.1. Each player plays each other in the best-of-three series.
1.2. Players get 3 points for winning series 2:0 and 2 points for winning series 2:1
1.3. After all players have played each other, points are being calculated and four best players face each other in the best-of-three semi-finals and then best-of-five final.
1.4. In case if there is a parity in points between several players during regular season, the results of the games between them are used to determine a position of the player in the table. If its a three-way draw, the additional factors of 1) series won; and 2) games won; can be taken to determine the winner.
1.5. Map pool for the tournament: Kholodny Ferma Summer, Crossing in the Woods, Crossroads, Faymonville Approach, Langreskaya, Arnhem Checkpoint.
2. Map Vetoes and Faction Selection
2.1 First, the players will do a
coin toss. The winner of the coin toss chooses to either do the first veto or pick the faction first. Obviously, if the winner of the coin toss chooses to pick the faction, the loser gets the first veto and vice versa. Before picking the factions, the players will veto maps from the map pool.
2.2. Map vetoing will be done first. So if the winner of the coin toss chooses to pick the faction he is not obliged to pick the faction until the map is determined.
2.3. The players will alternate making vetoes until there is 1 map left. This map will be played for the whole duration of the series.
2.4. Player on the left side of the custom lobby is always Allies (fixed position #1). Player on the right side of the lobby is always Axis (fixed position #2). This is done in order to balance out the maps.
2.5. Players switch factions in first two games (Allies-Axis). In case the third game is required, a player that has most VP points after two games has a right to choose a side (ie. Player 1 wins first game with having 500 points left, Player 2 wins second game with 480 points left. Player 1 has a right to choose a faction for a third game because he won a game with having more points. Only the points of a winning player are taken from the games â it doesn't matter how many points a losing player had in defeat).
2.6. Players have a right to choose various Allied / Axis factions during the same series (ie. The same player can play Ostheer in Game 1 and pick OKW for Game 3, etc.).
2.7. In order to avoid any unpleasant incidents, winning players should save the replay of all their games.
2.8. All games of the single series should be played on the same day. A refusal by one of the players to play out the whole series in one day will result in him losing the series 2:0.
2.9. All doctrines and commanders are allowed.
3. Match Setup
3.1. Standard 500 VP.
3.2. Fixed starting positions (Allies start at position #1, Axis start at position #2).
3.3. All bulletins are allowed.
3.4. Observer mode: 5 min delay, no password.
4. Playoffs and Final Series
4.1. Semi-finals are played between 1st and 4th seeds and 2nd and 3rd seeds. Best-of-three.
4.2. Final series are played out in the best-of-five format. Series for 3rd place is played in best-of-three.
4.3. No coin toss. Higher seeds of the regular season gets the right to either do the first veto or pick the faction first (e.g. 1st seed has an advantage over 4th seed and 2nd seed over third. Extends to the final and series for 3rd place).
4.4. In the final series, players switch factions in first four games (Allies-Axis). In case the fifth game is required, a player that has most VP points after four games has a right to choose a side.
4.5. Map stays the same throughout the duration of the series.
4.6. Players have a right to choose various Allied / Axis factions during the same series (i.e. The same player can play Ostheer in Game 1 and pick OKW for Game 3, etc.).

5. Submitting results of the games.
5.1. After the series are played, a winning player should submit the result to the "Submitting Results" discussion in the tournament group on Steam.
5.2. In case there is a dispute, replays of the games should be provided to the chairman of the tournament.

6.1. Tournament officially starts on 25.07.2017 with the regular season finishing no later than 15.08.2017 and final being played no later than 22.08.2017.
