Anyway, the M4C is inferior to USF E8. But if you restrict M4C, then the same should happen with M10, Panzer IV Command Tank, Panther Command Tank, Stug E...
I don't object to the restriction of all callin tanks to tech. Besides its unfair to rifle co. and all the t85 commanders too. Its a double standard.
I think I faced STFU a week or so ago, I think I beat him but I'd have to look at my stats. He was just a mediocre Captain Molo disciple at best, just just need to anticipate the call ins.
I think i faced him twice today. Or maybe some other player but the same tactic. Its frustrating thats for sure.
This one went a lot better than my previous one but its still galling.
Lend lease's ability to allow the soviet player to not tech at all creates a huge exploit.
Problem: While the axis player has to spend mp and fuel on tech, the soviet player can abuse lend lease to spam conscripts, leaving him with a numerical superiority in the early game which can snowball. Furthermore, the soviet player can also access some critical units tech (and hence cost) free:
i.e. hmgs, Halftrack and M4C Shermans.
This allows the soviet player to overcome the axis player in a relatively low risk manner. (I am not claiming to be the best player but i think the end of match stats bear me out)
I submit the replay and screenshot as evidence.
This is the second time I've faced this today, its a bit frustrating.
Solution: Please bring Lend lease in line with all other commanders by restricting M4C shermans to tech buildings.
I'd rather see this "feature" gone from OKW and USF, its one of the very core causes of blobbing-HMGs don't punish it, because you just go back few steps and repeat YOLO assault until HMG can't take it anymore.
Its 15 muni for a batch of 4 mines, 2 are enough to wipe squad.
Or 30 muni for 8 mines.
Do the math.
I'm sorry but that's patently false. It costs 60 to lay 4 patches. Each patch is 15. Half of 30. Which is what I meant. Unless you're counting each patch as 4 mines so each field is 16.
Which is a different standard of counting altogether to what I was talking about. I was equating each field to 4 'mines'
Its not only cheaper than standard "spammable" mine. Its 8 times cheaper! Half of the price for no damage against tanks (but still does significant damage to light vehicles), half for inability to make less than 4 of them and half for the signs. Here you have it. If you want to make them twice as expensive but without signs it would couse two things: close to nobody would use them (120 muni in bank? as ostheer?) but if somebody does it will couse pure frustration on the allied side as there is hardly any counterplay, is that what you want?
Please. You said it's 15 muni per mine. Thats half of 30. Now you're saying it's 8 times cheaper?
All I'm saying it it already pays for the cheapness by being AI only. There's exactly one vehicle which needs to fear it: the m3. Anything else will come out alive no trouble. Therefore it shouldn't be punished by having signs too.
He wasn't calling me out but someone else. Seeing as he still isn't showing his player card I thought I would give him yet another chance to show it, but of course he wont. Nothing changes.
