Historical accuracy doesn't have to dictate balance in the game. In fact just recently while discussing wf, the developers stressed this point. So you want the pak to be superior in every single way ? Relic stated that soviet tier options are supposed to be more effective because you can only get 1 out of two.... I don't understand, why do you guys want zis to be inferior version of PaK in every single atspect? It allready is, Pak has 50% more dps than a goddam SU-85, zis-3 AT is like nothing compared to PaK. Guess people really hate combined arms these days, all they want is conscript spam vs grenspam. Dear god if a support unit is more effective than an infantry squad... In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Does the Zis really need barrage?3 Jun 2014, 15:43 PM yes it does, it's an artirelly piece. Does a mortar really need barrage? It costs 60 munitions. 2 riflegrenades do pretty much the same vs a maxim. Pak has 50% faster rate of fire, and target weak point. In: COH2 Balance

Gsus, every time I played soviets I found myself having piles of mp and build whatever I wanted all the time. A unit killed by an S-mine field is nothing. You may even build a squad for that purpose: to clear an area of mines ???? what??? This post just shows that you have absolutely absolutely 0 understanding of the game. You need to have 60 to start planting it, but you can stop planting once one is done and the 45 munis will be refunded. S-mines are fine in my opinion in terms of damage. What's not fine is that they plant so ridiciluosly quickly if you manage to sneak your pios behind and plant them on a retreat path you can effectively wipe a shit ton of units. In: COH2 Gameplay

I don't know dude, i've seen some very good players including stephen and hans using them to pretty good effect. While PG might be underperforming, they definately aren't useless. If PG is buffed, so should PPSH be buffed abit because right now the PPSH does barely any damage at ranges more than 8 meters. While the MP 40 is still pretty decent at 12-15 meters... Thread: M3s unbeatable2 Jun 2014, 20:22 PM i dunno, whenever i play againts M3s, i feel that i lose because i overextend/do a mistake of some sort. However they are annoying, i guess in the hands of a player like cataclaw they can be very hard to deal with. But a fast pak or a well microd 222 will bring em down fairly easily. The only issue with them maybe is that they are too fast when they are fausted. Other than that they are fine. An mg42 rips through them and a gren nearby doesn't let them come close and flame you.
