I would like to know what is your point of view to this subject.
1. B-4 or ML-20
2. B-4 doctrine or ML-20 doctrines?
I find ML-20 easier to vet (4 shells per barrage).
It comes with Guards (I prefer them over Shocks)
FAB-50.
If I go for Ml-20, I choose T34/76 as my main AT power. Why? Because I can ram or block (and sacrafice 1 T34/76) heavy target, then use direct ML-20 shot + Fab-50. None tank will survive such combo. It has nice rotation speed, punish for blobs.
B-4 is hard to vet. You have to be lucky to hit something, but since vet and direct shot it's a monster.
However it has very slow rotation, comes with KV-1 so I will not be able to spam T34/76. Rather use KV-1 as damage sponge for SU-85 so I lose mid-game advantage which T34/76 provides me.
What is your opinion? B-4 is better than ML-20?

Well, this patch was like a hot-fix, not true patch. However I like it. Just make Jadgtiger unable to shot through everything and I'm fine. |

Yep. Yesterday I switched commanders. One game and quit. After 2-3 hours I launched CoH2 again, random 4v4, loading screen, then I looked at my bulletins and what the hell?? There were bulletins I had before I switched them.
Sometimes there is no bulletins in menu but they show up after choosing game mode. |
I'm allies player but I voted no.
Of course T34/85 is cool and it would be fun to have it as tier unit, but I really like T34/76. Cheap, spamable with good AI power tank.
If Soviets were designed to play with call-in, Relic should redesign (remove) few doctrines which no one use (like this with Dskh and 45mm at gun), and make some new with T34/85. |
Just take away from Jadgtiger ability to shoot through obstacles. It already has the biggest range, penetration and armor. No need super powers.
Do something with Kubel cause right know USF have absolutely nothing to counter it.

There is something wrong with USF since last patch/patches.
Since release I was top 100 (highest 27) 4v4 random mode. Even if I got very poor teammate I carried him well enough to make him able to call in (soviets) ISU or IS and I was about 30W/9L.
Right now it's complety different game (57W/57L) and it's not because of my teamgames skill or teammates but because of patches.
Aside from the fact how weak USF are, there is no fun. I mean what reasons you have to play as them?
Cool elit inf? Check.
Big and heavy tank? Check.
Some other way to start besides Rifle, Rifle Rifle...? Check.
Any powerful arty that can punish your enemy for blobbing? Check.
No fun at all.
The only one unit which makes me smile is Jackson.
I know it needs a lot of great micro etc but, maybe it's not fun but satisfaction, when your 2 Jackson are hunting around the whole map and kill something heavy.
Also AA Halftruck is nice but for me far away from OKW one. |
You realize a PaK-40 can't kill a M3 in a single shot? That's how it is, Relic put it into the code that vehicles, being significant investments shouldn't necessarily be one shot.
M3 is bigger than Kubel (which I understand in this case as more durable. Needs a Tier and cost fuel.
And since Kubel is not easy to hit it should be 1-shot unit (if it will stay they way it is).
Very, very high reward so it should be high risk also which means 1 AT gun hit. |
This unit is unpredictable. One time it can get over 30 kills, and in next game it will not get even 8.
It's very expensive, very risky but also very high rewarding (but fortunately it will reward you very, very rarely). |
In teamgames Kubel is a nightmare for my as Allie, and it's awesome as OKW.
It can shut Allies in base for realy long time.
It needs to be fix somehow.
1. Make it doctrinal 0 CP in place of HMG (put HMG to T0)
2. Make it avaible since 1 truck is converted.
3. Leave it in T0 but nerf it (less hp, slower rotation, anything).
It's so frustrating that even ZiS can't take it in one shot.
Many times in teamgames one guy takes ZiS at the beggining to repel Kubels but like I said, lowe chance to hit, needs 2 hits so it's not rewarding that I sacrificed inf over at gun. |
