Therefore they are similar, cause they are made for the same purpose. Im still amazed how anyone can compare buildings (trucks) to units which brits emplacements are. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Brace8 Sep 2015, 14:07 PM Think of brace as a standard retreat. If you hit retreat before its too late, your squad will survive. Forget about it and you will lose it. Emplacements cannot move so its obvious they should have something to protect them. If you blob as OKW or usf, got into heavy fire and retreat to FRP, and then 30sec later blob again into heavy fire, do you have cooldown on retreat? No, you dont. You can save your troops how many times you want. As for brace. Giving it cooldown like this, means insta death. Attack with mortar - force to brace - wait - attack with off map, Stuka, sturmtiger, mortars, leig, anything to kill it. Now imagine that your blob cannot retreat from OKW Schwerer and you can just watch how models are dying. Its not perfect comparasion but still. Make brace without cooldown, so you can use it constantly, but received damage would be around 20-30% of normal damage instead of almost unkillable. In: COH2 Balance

Against every kind. No matter how good you are, if you must control for example 4 rifles, 1 Scott, 1 sherman, at gub, captain and something else during frontline battle, Scott behind lines will be at the end of your order list. Nuf to said I was able to get with raketens so many kills that pak40 would look really shy. But you havent used it in that way, so you cannot say anything about its potential to use with retreat. Get 2 of them, go deep behind lines, snipe Priest / Scott / T70 / Quad / anything with 320hp and insta retreat with maybe 1-2 models down. In: COH2 Gameplay
