Well here's to optimism then.
Go patch, go! |
I'm amazed the M1919 is getting so many votes when Grens already have the LMG42 upgrade and Obers come with a free LMG34. Who is going to equip it, the Sturmpios?
Are people voting for the best upgrade period or the upgrade that best synergizes with the custom faction? |
The SU-76 is found to have been performing better than intended according to relic's spreadsheets and receives a price increase. |
Looks like the name of the game will be hold north/middle and build a muni cache or two. |
AA is going to have to be pretty impressive to justify it's $40 price tag.
Like rangers riding a Pershing towing a Calliope impressive. |
That is some great news! |
I don't consider multi-monitor cheating because the minimap and tactical map are already providing the exact same information a larger FoV would. |
Another alternative would be to cut the number of PTRS rifles the squad gets down to 1 but double the dps on the PTRS. It isn't like blobs of guards would suddenly start countering medium tanks.
Could even give the PTRS a bit more AI capability (particularly vs units in cover) to make up for the fact that shrecks and bazookas probably kill more soldiers than PTRS rifles atm. |
My vote goes to shocks here. LMG grens are going to consume a lot of munitions to upgrade and fill a long range anti-infantry role so the ideal compliment would require no munition upgrades to be effective and function best at close range to support the grens where they are weakest. Obers require no munitions to be effective but overlap with the grens while paras can function well at both close and long range but require costly munitions upgrades to do so. This leaves shocks, falls, and pgrens as the best compliment. Of the three shocks are by far the most durable and can consistently take on MGs from the front with smoke grenades. |
1.Rzhev Winter: It would be a good map if it didn't so heavily favor the south.
2.Minsk Pocket: Generally boring as it too often devolves into a camp fest in the middle.
3.Crossing in the Woods: Too small. It should be a 1v1 map only.
4.Ettelbruck Station: Surprisingly fun but the eastern border of the map needs to be extended to allow more maneuvering around the eastern VP.
5.Hurtgen Forest: There is nothing good about this map. The forest destroys light vehicle pathing, it devolves into two 1v1s, and the river crossing heavily favors the south.
6.Road to Kharkov: Too small. It should be a 1v1 map only.
7.Vaux Farmlands: The gold standard of what 2v2 maps should be.
8.Semoskiy Summer: The narrow choke points and limited avenues of attack into the town make turn it into another campfest.
9.Semoskiy Winter: An excellent map. The ice opens up a number of new ways to attack key parts of the map and the fuel points are further from the bases. It would be even better if the north fuel cutoff was a little closer to the eastern base.
10.Trois Ponts: I can't decide if I love or hate this map. The city is incredibly difficult to take back once lost but the western part of the map offers a lot of flanking and even base attack opportunities. |
