To humor you; the M-42 in numbers and can be scary to light medium tanks like Ostwind and StuG III, on close range maps it works. It also vet's up insanely fast because like the Pak43 it never got the verterancy gain for it adjusted. It's a low MP cost unit that shoots at tanks lots of times. Once it gets some vet it can be a fairly big pain in the side of a PIV spammer. To bad it's trapped in Eddlebruck Station Tactics and Pissmunnity Defense Tactics. Of course it's hard to know that because you can't use units in a game you don't play. I'm suggesting to everyone that we quit with this ad hominem bullshit and uh, get back to the topic. Alex, no Jagdpanzer will crush me or any other Bears. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Stuka a bit too much27 May 2015, 20:33 PM I'm a big fan of the Stuka CAS. My late game strategy revolves around it. I'll often get one or two muni caches mid game so I can get enough to spam them. If your muni income is at 60 or higher, you will have enough muni to call in stuka cas when the cooldown is over. It is less effective against IS2s because two of them will shoot it down with their MGs. It's a bit silly how 120 muni easily counters 200 muni call in, but yoloskillplane is added benefit. Stuka CAS is amazing against USF. On a map like Angoville, everything gets rekt because it's so open. The town chokepoint on the right side really helps keep armor hemmed in if it's forward. Jacksons die so fast to the cas. It really makes me happy :3 With Blitzkrieg doctrine, getting a couple of panthers and the P4 command tank is really good. Panthers have, essentially, 20% more HP so they don't die as fast. double pio to repair, three LMGGrens, 1 HMG42, your army composition is great. Get a Pak or a schreck Pgren for added AT. Thread: People are probably taking this game too seriously 24 May 2015, 22:37 PM I like playing this game because I play with friends in TAB because I'm not good enough to have real friends. Also, I am halfway decent at this game and like to take it seriously. I'm getting better now at accepting squad wipes, for example... If a tank I have dies in two seconds after going on the frontline, I put it in front of some AT guns. A lot of AT guns, actually. If I have a squad I leave alone for five minutes and it dies, well, fuck me, that's my fault. If I have a con squad moving through the open with three men and a GrW 34 mortar round lands on it, I accept the heat-seeking mortar rounds that are in Coh2 (just like heat-seeking schrecks from volks). If my five man airborne squad gets one-shotted by a Tiger as it comes around a stone wall because of clumping/aoe effects, well, that's fucking awesome for that guy. What really makes me mad though, is when I put my HMG42 in a building at the five minute mark and it dies because of the setup bug. meh. coh2 is fun. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Skilled players,levels,Smurfs etc.21 May 2015, 10:35 AM I once got wrecked by Cataclaw's smurf account back when he was top 5. I was like, "you know, Cataclaw has a nice M3 strat he likes to use as soviets" and then he's like, "dude, here's my real steam profile" and I was like, "OHHHHHHHHHHHHH". It was pretty sweet. On the other hand, when speaking about rank, I am currenlty 1800 something. It's a pile of horse shit, really. With Ostheer, I've been in the 2500s after a 15+ loss streak, and I've been as high as 217 before said loss streaks. It's really sad. To be fair, in that game, I should not have spammed rifle nades and waited for LMG42s, but you know, whatever. My micro was still half decent. Seriously, watch it. The combination of TM-35s and ISU-152 wipes is hilarious. After that I just dick around with a tiger and pio. But sometimes, we just get shafted. That game against Cataclaw, I lost. Then against VonIvan, I lost (because my computer crashed due to porn) and then I went on to lose twelve more games in a row. Bottom line is: Ranks, especially below the top 500, don't really seem to matter much. To a certain degree they certainly do, but the fluctuate with every game they're not really an accurate indication of skill. My typical Ostheer rank is between 1400 and 1200. In: Lobby
