Thanks for clearing that up! I'll be sure to give them a shot. Also, I just recalled one ability I never noticed before on the AEC, a recon plane ability that seemed quite strong. I'm not sure, but I think it unlocked through veterancy. Can anyone confirm if that is new as well?

Is there a reliable place to check all of the patch notes..?

PPS: I'm actually quite blown away by how active this community is and the developers still putting in work on a 7 year old game. I literally did not expect there to be new units, just balance changes every 6 months or so. Pleasantly surprised.

Hey guys, I'm a new player to CoH 2 (in 2020, I know! O.o) and am loving it so far. I am playing UKF exclusively (despite all the naysayers! ) and have a pretty good grasp of the game now.

However, the other day I was playing a bot game with a friend, and a few units appeared in buildings that I have never seen before.. namely the British Medic Squad in the Field Headquarters (T0), and the Assault Officer in the Command Platoon Post (T1)... where did these units come from, they're not new, are they..? O.o Also, I've noticed some abilities on certain units that I had never seen before, though I can't remember exactly what they were..

At first I thought I had used a new Commander or something and never noticed them, but during my next game they were still there, and before I had chosen any Commanders. I thought maybe it was a map setting or something, but we didn't use any mods (except Cold Tech disabled and High Resources..). I can't find any information on these units and they are not listed in the Unit Guide here on the site, so I am at a loss.

Can anyone tell me if these are intended units, and what caused them to appear? Or is my game somehow bugged and showing me old units or scenario-specific ones..? Any insight would be appreciated, thanks!
