And I'm saying, just like in my previous reply, that minor changes may have been made between unit>unit interaction over the lifespan of the game thus far, though nothing has been done to the address the fundamental problems that have persisted since the original beta, in regard to team games. Here are the numbers to prove it. Happy?
broodwarjc, I don't need to calm down brother, I'm chill, I'm chill. Also, the kubel was just an example in my argument, I'm indifferent to it.
Ok so because they are #1 in both factions they are just a good team, but balance is an issue for everyone else? You can't have it both ways. And for the record, they are currently active on both ladders and constantly play both factions to keep themselves at the top. You are only solidifying my point. You will skew and bend the numbers to whatever you want, constantly deflecting culpability onto something rather than yourself. |
That, to me, is not a definition of balance.
The same team is #1 in Allies and Axis 4v4AT. Is that balance? |
Gdot, i must respectively say, your AT is 126-6 as Axis. I am pretty sure you aren't having any balance issues at all
I'm just trying to help players get some perspective. I'm going to use us as a reference but im not tooting my horn (infact I dont think we are very good, clearly there are better players). We are 4 guys who have played together since coh1. Combined we have about 40 years experience in this series. Is it possible you are losing because you are being outplayed? Again, there are certainly things that need to be addressed, as there always will be with this game. But I find it a little frustrating when I check the records of the people complaining about balance and the majority of them seem to be pretty inexperienced. Not saying that they don't deserve an opinion, of course they do. But people are so quick to point at balance and not look at themselves or their squad. Yes there are certainly balance issues, but imo the majority of people pointing at balance should be pointing at themselves first. |
I don't think balance in 4v4 is as bad as people make it seem. Not saying that the USF doesn't need help, certainly they do in some aspects. With that being said, when we play high ranking 4v4 allied teams - the games are intense, they are close and competitive. We win some, we lose some. Don't be so quick to blame balance. Hold yourself and your teammates accountable and figure out what you can do differently. |

How so? 5 fuel and slightly larger size doesnt change unit performance,. Blobbing of everything still stays the same regardless, and the kubel is the last unit i would count as crowd control as one blob would simply overpower one kubel (and any other mg, regardless). It gets its advantage as the first unit being made which is extremely effective at targetting individual targets with the fact it is a mobile vehicle platform. You get 5 fuel back from a vehicle, so this change was warranted.
5 fuel, larger target size, jeep back to 0, buffed rifles. And why are you assuming OKW gets the fuel back? That's not an automatic. |
All the changes look pretty good, minus the kubel. It's the only non doctrinal crowd control OKW has. My guess is this just going to promote even more blobbing. Time will tell though. I'll put my faith in relic to make sure it was not an over nerf. Other than that, looks like a good overall start. |
The ISU/JT change means that they also removed attack move from those units?
Also very curious to hear the answer to this. |
I use (2) kubel +5% increased speed and (1) kubel speed and acceleration bulletin. Don't care if they stack or not, I use them as fear propaganda anyway. |
I am predicting over balance and over compensation. I'll bet someone a copy of AA that this throws the pendulum too far in the opposite direction. Only catch is you have to complete every mission. |
