T34/76 is NOT a joke on my hands; Maybe on your hands you make it suck shit? but on me, No. I can kill a stug with a little micro, go toe to toe with a Panzer 4. Is it a joke? LOL T34/85 is apparently a very good tank. But no one says it "one hit wipe" or elefant penetration; up to a point i think this little medium tank just have too much health and too much firepower with that fuel cost.

I don't know what's up with this, I guess maybe a byproduct of the LERP Relic added in for penetration, but I think it has really messed up the SU-85. I have a replay of game where my SU-85's failed over and over again to penetrate tiger. I'm not talking just a few shots, I had vet3!!! SU-85 at max range beating on a tiger and it looked like maybe 1 of 5 or 6 rounds penetrated for SOME damage, I don't even think it was full damage. This wasn't just 1 time freak occurance, it happened several times in the game. I had unusually good luck kiting armor in this game with SU-85 and shot off a bunch of shells from max range. I think 25% or less penetration is really dumb for a tank destroyer! I've also been noticing that it misses a LOT. SU-85 needs to be good at wrecking armor, it's the only thing it can do. Even when IS2 had enough armor to make elefant rounds fail to penetrate, it wasn't this bad, it was maybe 1 out of 2 would fail. It's my opinion that the SU-85 is a great destroyer, but broken vs Tiger. Tiger needs armor decrease or SU-85 gun needs a penetration increase, the gap is too large with this matchup (at max range). penetration on puma is pretty good, I was surprised the first time I got ambushed by small packs like this too, I didn't expect them to do a good job penetrating heavy armor. Trying to take out a tiger with a similar pack of t70's just wouldn't work, even from the back. The ISU needs it's scatter at max range toned down some. It's reload is painfully slow, but with each shot blasting a squad away from max range, it's really unfair. Even with ISU costing so much, it's really bad. I have a very strong feeling, based on my knowledge of network principles that measurments are not being completed correctly. I am east coast american and my latency is small enough that it does not have an effect on my abilty. If you ping the battle server, that gives you only the data regarding the round trip time for the data to travel. So why can your latency be higher than your ping? Other variables include things like the method of processing the information in the game in a network environment. How many servers are there? You can imagine that the server will likely add a delay dynamically based upon it's load at the time. If I understand the way the game works, it cannot proceed with processing new events until all data from each player is received, meaning that your game still runs at the speed of the slowest player. The response may also grow as the game goes on, with the increasing size of the data transmitted (although the data is of a small size, it might be possible that it cannot be sent all at once and that part of it will need to be resent, such a scenario would result in the doubling of your ping or more). That said, I'll try to pay extra attention to it, I was also frustrated with long online delays, but recent changes they made in the software as well as the addition of the battle servers has really made the experience pretty good for me. I'm not suggesting you be ignored, but reporting that it's not the case for all players, myself included in that. In: COH2 Gameplay |

They need to tweak the accuracy values for the explosions and if they haven't already, think about having the mines lerp, which has proven to be a better mechanic than the simple near/far system. They are too cheap to be taking out full health squads, that is annoying. I have no problem with them taking out injured squads though. I really want them to have the pinning effect they used to have, this made them effective for dealing with blobs. I agree with the thing about s-mines, if they added pin, the infantry wouldn't trample all over them before you can react (granted the player missed the skull and crossbones signs). I too have seen a lot of squad wipes with the new AOE, it's very punishing. I mostly notice it with infantry that come into range of Tigers. They are so powerful now. In: COH2 Balance |

I could be wrong on this, but I'm starting to notice that while all other tanks are seeing really bad accuracy on the move (both Germana and Soviet), the panther doesn't seem to be suffering as much and is able to land hits reliably on the move when facing off against armor. In: COH2 Gameplay |

There has been some times where a patch came out and the balance became so bad that matchups became hard. A great example is last patch, where Germans were way OP and at first we had everyone queuing into Germans for a while, then a lot of players must have got bored with easy wins and all queued soviet for hard mode. This state of balance shouldn't drag on for 3 weeks. I played 1 game and knew it wasn't right when I couldn't beat pioneers with any of my infantry. In: Lobby |

I'm def having a harder time with soviets now. Grens aren't invincible now, the problem is with the increased lethality it ends up being 1-sided. They didn't seem to make smart changes to accuracy based on distance. Relic released some DPS sheets and you can see how unfair it is from that data alone. German dps is usually 2x that of soviet, usually for the same price. LMG has better long range performance than svt and mosin, but not better than kar98 and g43. That issue of Germany putting out 2x more dps than soviets is the problem. Germany had a lot of infantry durability before because of armor, but now they took that away and if anything soviets die even faster now, because the changes to the weapons made them better killers than they were before. Soviet death rate is so fast, even in cover that it's hard to maintain a lasting presence on the field. In: COH2 Balance |
