Thread: Penal Battalion anyone?16 Jan 2014, 15:16 PM Now that the super early Shock troops are the main infantry force of most soviet players armies I rarely see the good old trusty Penals being used. I use them allot still as they are great for clearing early defences such as buildings,MG nests and mortars ect. with their awesome satchel charges. I was just interested to see if anyone still use them and if so in what role? In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: G-43 vs SVT-4018 Dec 2013, 13:21 PM Really this sort of thread makes me realise why I love COH, I love how passionate everyone is about WW2 history. Personally I think it just boils down to the fact the SVT's are in the hands on under-trained penal troops and the G43 is in the hands of highly trained grenadiers. But all in all the g43 was a better rifle In: COH2 Balance
