Thread: Flamethrower vehicles fix3 Oct 2013, 16:29 PM Hello . I would like to suggest making one fix for vehicles using flamethrowers like clown-cars, German HT and KW-8... made flamethrowers not firing when vehicle is driving. They could still targeting when driving, but it would use flamethrower only when stationary. This would let infantry to stay in combat longer (using PTRS, shrecks on the edge of flamethrower range or attacking when vehicle start to chase you) and had larger chances when retreating. cheers ! Thread: CoH2 infantry defences change suggestion3 Oct 2013, 15:57 PM Hello, I would like to suggest removing trenches from osttruppen doctrine (and give them something else) and allow them to being build by pioneers and combat engineers to compensate lack of regular sandbags and other infantry defenses. Also I suggest adding soviet DShK emplacement (like in HQ) for combat engineers that will cost in manpower and small amount of fuel. Thread: 2 problems2 Oct 2013, 22:17 PM I think that conscripts should be blunt power compared to grenadiers, larger survivability and firepower because of 2 additional men, but poor training... Mosin-Nagant was very fine and accurate rifle and conscripts effectiveness (accuracy and ROF) at long range should increase seriously with vet level (when being inferior DPS to grens before getting vet). From other hand Germans are very well trained in matter of marksmanship and I would rather add more survivability bonuses for vet rather increases in effective DPS. When it comes to penal squads I'm always advocating giving them access to HQ global upgrades, giving them access to Molotov's and light AT(largest disadvantage vs cheaper conscripts) allowing for using them later with or instead conscripts. Thread: The state of soviet tier 1?2 Oct 2013, 21:36 PM I would had no problem with penals if they could use HQ Molotov and AT nades upgrades, you expend manpower and fuel to get minimal protection against armor and garrisons just to buy another non-doctrinal infantry unit what is unable to use it... IMHO it would made penal squads much more versatile and cost effective unit if being able to use HQ global upgrades too . EDIT_1: Other possible improvement would be decreasing penals price to 240 instead giving them access to HQ upgrades but I'm less into this idea. EDIT_2: Snipers and scout cars are balanced enough after patch, no need for buffing them. In: COH2 Balance

EDIT_1: in CoH2 mostly you can recognize grenade animation and move the unit or just hear your units screaming about incoming grenades . In: COH2 Gameplay

Soviets float munitions all the time so requiring ~100 munitions for an upgrade to a 85 fuel tank just means every t34 is going to become a t34/85 almost automatically. I meant global base building upgrade for T3 building, like Molotov's in HQ... this will cost (not small amount, you could easily buy tank instead) manpower and fuel and will up-gun all existing t34's on field + allow building next T34/85 with same price like regular T-34. It would work same way like US Sherman gun upgrade in CoH 1. This upgrade will also promote keeping regular T-34's alive in mid game and upgrade them later. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: T34/8529 Sep 2013, 19:14 PM I Always liked idea of having T3 building upgrade to T-34/85, it would be costly investment, but price of upgraded T34's would be same like older model and all T-34s on field would be up-gunned instantly like CoH Sherman gun turret upgrade... I think that would be the best solution . Double T34 call-in still would had some advantages because you can field them instantly and You don't need buy Tier 3 + gun upgrade to produce them...
