If OH + OKW: you can invest a bit more on T1 play with more Mgs and make your partner get a rakentenwerfer Use houses, DO NOT PUT MG42 inside houses unless you have a gren nearby and even then i wouldnt do it. Do not go for the faust unless you have something nearby to finish it off (another faust, rak or maybe an MG). He is just going to dismount rifles, chase you, exit crew and repair. Bars aren´t the problem since by the time it arrives it should just be like some DP Guards inside. By that time you should have plenty of counters are your disposal (Pak, mines, rak, shrecks, 222, mines). In: Lobby

This exist because Ostheer is not meant to skip tech and this greatly deters doing so. Their arsenal is designed in such a way that skipping tech either requires doctrinal intervention or heavy investment in a lower tech. (For example, you could skip t3 if you heavily invested into t2. You could also skip t1 if you have Ostruppen.) 2 Flame halftacks should just be back in t2. T2 is so greatly delayed from what it used to be, and honestly how bad are you at the game that you can't counter one halftrack with mines/at grenades/zis/satchel charge/guard rifles or bazookas/rifle grenade. Both Americans and Soviets can easily have out the necessary AT to counter a flame halftrack in t2. (Just the same as countering a flak halftrack or whatever) 3 1- Nope. You can use T3 to put presure on a call in SU strat or early light vehicle play of US. You can´t chase with Brumbears and Panthers don´t have great AI "harassing" capabilities. 2- And is this balanced in comparison to the introduction of the new factions? Do you think that MP wise, the mp atrittion is balance between US and OH ? SU has already receive buff in their teching department, so why not revisit it with OH? PD: you can´t skip T1 with Osstruppen cause you won´t have faust. AND please show me who the hell goes Osstruppen NOWADAYS. (I used them "frequently" with the Puma commander but for the lulz) PD2: Hans(?) 3- I think we have already had way too much FHT rush Meta to make the same mistakes. Infact Ost is voted completely the opposite, as the weakest in 1v1. Sort of quite a difference between his opinion and the almost complete majority of everyone else, if you know what I mean... As ontopic, the poll does indeed portrayba very strong representation of US as strongest 1v1 faction. You are right, the OPINION of the community is that US is strong on 1v1. But you have to take into account that it MIGHT not be actually correct. We are not taking into account the balance difference on different skill levels, where as Ciez stated perfectly, a good MG micro proves to be worlds of difference on the US match up. If both factions are played at their most, which comes ahead ? IMO: the ease of use of US early game vs the "effort" OH has to make, don´t correlate. This is opposite on the vehicle play during mid-late game. In: COH2 Balance

Also the M36's M3 90mm gun doing 240 damage while the IS-2's behemoth D25-T 122mm does only 160, the same as an F-34 76mm. Balance > Realism. Eventhough i prefered the first version of the IS2 with higher damage and slower reload time. Thing is, the dmg was too unreliable. Right now is in a fine place (not too good not too bad). Do you want to give it higher damage? What about Pen? Rate of fire? AoE? Damage on deflect? In: COH2 Balance

Even if you are cut off from fuel, you can always rely on getting a vet3 tiger into the field. On teamgames at least it has the drawback of having extra support to deal with it. On 1v1 it can transform on an undeserved extra challenge. Now you get more xp from vetted squads. So you can catch up faster. PD: i guess you do 4-6con spam. You can tweak it a bit into 3/4 maxims or 2Cons (see vet3 squad) CE, T1, M3s, or retreat CE and go for snipers. In: COH2 Balance
