I see how even doing that would be difficult because there are so many values for even a single weapon, and there are so many weapons...but is there also some software that one could use to organize that data after having it look through the file? And I, and others, have explained that the AI is simply incapable of playing in the same way as a human player, and so does not give an accurate picture of unit strengths and weaknesses, nor of the faction as a whole due to it's poor combined arms usage. The "Strategies" it uses are not applicable to balance, and the higher level AI cheats through resource gain rather than being any smarter. The AI is in no way an useful tool to balance around. Discord > Custom game > replays Playing vs AI at least gives you a rough impression of how units FEELS, not how necessarily they balance out against a real player. Not sure what you are trying to prove when you set up a match between AI vs AI as it has been stated before that they don't play like human players and follow different rules of gameplay. A player dropping and been replaced by an AI =/= game vs AI. In: COH2 Balance

I want you to ask yourself what you're really trying to communicate in this thread, because the only reason I can think of for why someone would post a typical 3x gren build vs a 4x conscript build in response to a point about Pgrens is that what's actually going on is that you're personally struggling in your SOV vs OST match-up and just want a weaker OST because losing sucks. OH starts with +30mp and a +30mp more expensive unit (170mp CE vs 200mp Pio). This is OH tech cost. T1: 80/10 BP1: 100/40 Medic: 150/0/60 T2: 100/20 This is SU tech cost. T1: 160/10 T2: 160/15 Medics: 200 Grenade: 150/15 T3: 240/85 Upgrade: 100/20 As OH, going non meta T1, means a total cost of 430mp/70f/60mu. 350mp/60f/60mu if you skip T1. As SU, going T2-nades, means a total cost of 510mp/30f. Getting T3 cost 750mp/115f I don't see how Soviets get the T70 in a timely fashion nor how they outnumber OH with squads. I'll say it again, i don't think PG are as much of an issue. But in the comparison you guys are making with SU, i think it's a problem of how much mp inefficient is the tech, specially for the first 10 mins of the game. In: COH2 Balance

Live version both feels stronger than the 'balance' patch and the AI matches confirm this. The same AI on live performs significantly better without the new patch. You really can't get a fairer situation or comparison than the computer playing itself both pre and post patch. Any limitations of the AI are the same for both teams. The factions is clearing getting nerfed, that's no doubt. But using the AI as any parameter of balance is frankly stupid. Because the AI doesn't play by the same rules as normal players nor does it follow any normal build order. In: COH2 Balance

In live the UKF Hard AI comfortably beats the OKW standard AI. In the 'balance' patch OKW beats the better driver. Unless you can find two players of completely identical skill then the AI results do show something. No, it just shows which AI was programmed better. Different factions have different AI behaviours.
