I use mod tools for everything I can. Only reliable source imo. I compare vet 3 to vet 5 because theoredically vet 3 should be equal to OKWs vet 5. But since the JP4 specifically vet 5 is utter garbage now, it really is hardly worth even getting.
Takes too long when i'm looking for some simple values. Whenever i want reliable, i use the old extractor and through a notepad++.
Vet3 is not supposed to be equal to OKW vet 5 on ALL cases. Just take a look at OH PV vs OKW PV. They are basically equal on the first 3 lvs. Same with other vehicles or infantry units.
Not sure what would you expect out of a passive added bonus.
Doing 400 damage with guaranteed acc and pen, on top of old cammo was utterly bonkers. You are basically getting First strike/ambush bonus with the added damage component. |

Why do you compare vet3 against vet 5? In the case of the JPIV, vet 4 and 5 are extra bonuses.

Note that getting vet4 and vet 5 is easier cause the xp value needed is not 2x rather than 25% and 33% increase.
For the Su85, it's not like it's crazy low, it's just outdated after the cost increase and performance change. Same with Su76 with was just a crap unit and then reworked (in this case, yeah extremely low).

AEC: 1160xp 280/60
Stug 1510xp 280/90
Puma OH: 1170xp
Puma OKW: 1340xp 320/70
M10: 1440xp
Stuart/T70/P2: 870xp
It should mimic the Puma/AEC range.
BTW: where do you look for unit xp value? I mean, how much XP they grant when getting hit.

Unless you are living in the USA, the whole premise that because i "still have internet" fells kinda short sometimes.
If you are using services such as Discord or TS, big chances are that you are using a server which is located at least in the same continent. Anything can happen when your connection needs to cross the Atlantic or you leave in another hemisphere.
I'm not saying Relic isn't at fault, just that the excuse generally falls short. |
Tl;dr why and when do you think a panther is a preferable fuel and manpower investment compared to stugs / Pwerfer / Brummbar?
A vehicle which serves no role as heavy armored tanks are not been fielded by allies, and meta and balance changes had been done through time leaving no good place for the PV to shine (specially when they reduced rear armor).
ISU, KV2, KV8, KV1, Pershing, Comet. Whenever there's a stalemate on which fuel is not a limitation and you already have Pwerfer/Brummbar. You want something which can hold on it's own and can't be easily sniped compared to Stug/pak wall.
The problem is arriving to T4. Once you are there, you would probably need a PW or Brummbar more than you need a PV. If you need AT you would have pak wall with schreck assistance or had gone Stug if things went bad. PV is a luxury.

How to avoid degrading a thread which was fine on the first pages: STOP answering to low quality comments. I know, "you" have that urge to correct people who scream to the full strength of their lungs that the problem is on the game balance and not in the hands of the one writing the message. But when people who actually can move their hands, play and adapt to changes, give feedback (which is rare), you could make the effort and avoid it.
If you have engage with someone, why not quote the message from Cruzz, Stark, Sully, Siddolio, SweetrollNearTheDoor, Siphon X, Von Ivan, Gbpirate, etc. I'll tell, you, they are not 1 liners comments.
The only thing i can rescue from the difference in opinions is that, as it has always been in the history of all games, that the experience between people playing randoms and people playing with a dedicated partner, alters the perception of balance of way too many people.
When you play 2v2 randoms, you are not playing against 2 opponents. You are playing against 3. If you are playing against the matchmaking system, that's a whole different concern.

There are 2 ways to do replays, what coh does with list of commands being executed in an order(and RNG outcomes playing as they did), or pretty much a 'video' kind of thing akin to SC2 replays.

If people didn't pick "OP", you wouldn't had search % swings like we have seen through the history of COH. The UKF released showed us that all those people playing massively axis on 3v3+, didn't suddenly fell in love with the faction concept rather than hop in the ez mode train.

Also, i think he would find repulsive those people who play FPS and put all setting to low so they can have +144 constant FPS. It seems someone need to broad up their view. |

Just like in any other game, you can improve to take better decisions. There's a physical limit on how much mechanic wise you can improve.

Any buff, tweak or nerf to a specific ability will impact another commander which is fine, up or meta.
BECAUSE WFA or UKF have like ±40 abilities/units for 8 commanders when in the case of EFA, they have 21 commanders and ±50 items.
You would need to remove like 5-8 commanders from EFA and redistribute the abilities, to actually make it work.
