It is good, that HMG-bunker etc. are more easy to counter, because it opens balancing questions. Edit: at the moment I am working on a test version. I will send a video in some time to present the idea. I also want some more visual indicators for the upgrade. Just clarification. Hitbox or size? In: COH2 Gameplay

Believe it or not, some meta some niche. It always rounded up certain commanders. Fortified armor: when your main issue with getting your Ele countered was mass Guard buttoning. Combined with Command tank it was unkillable. You traded offensive options from Jaeger armor (Stuka/Spotting scopes) for defensive ones meaning you relied more heavily in your teammate partner. Blitzkrieg: when Stuka AT strafe was OP and Tiger was not needed (Lighting) and Jaeger Infantry is not what it currently is. Festung armor: how to destroy old Airborne doctrine players. Mobile defense: no need to go beyond that. The problem is not the unit itself, it is that it breaks other teammates units. In: COH2 Gameplay

There's no need to layer on even more unnecessary complexity. The effect was there to counter old levels of lethality and only on owned territories which made the unit clunky to use. For it to gain 20% DR back, it would have to follow one of this options: -Munition based active ability. 10% Passive, increased to 20% for a certain duration of time. -20% DR only on your own tanks. 10% only on allied ones and your own infantry (due to recent Gren change). -+10% when units are on owned territories. Why not give it same stats as silt-trench. Upgraded they get nerfed to actual level. Soi they don't get op. Edit: the upgrades version (I mean with HMG) could lock garrison. Not sure what those stats are. HP difference, armor and size? I don't mind starting first with "bad" stats, if it means people can actually use them to begin with. There's also the thing that i don't remember what type of cover the bunker/trenches provide. I do know (unless it was fixed) that some provided heavy cover instead of garrison which meant they did fine against grenades. In: COH2 Gameplay

If it arrives later it arrives later than OKW vehicles so delay those vehicles. Lower the price of the T2 truck so it set up in the same time as T1 and have vehicle production (puma? Stuka?)require engineers. Now Puma comes later. This is OKW issue. A tank is a vehicle. Not all vehicles are tank. A T70 is both, a 222 or AA HT is not. You are discussing semantics. And you keep ignoring the other points i make and you try to make it sound as it is an OKW issue as well. It arrives later than ALL OTHER FACTIONS light vehicles/tanks due to teching placement. And for some reason you are asking for a further buff to OKW T2 when no one opens up with a Pumas as first option unless been based camped against USF and they already have a Stuart on the field. Unless you forgot to include the P2, that's a really stupid idea. Instead of 6 mins P2 we have 5 mins P2. You want to rework 4 factions light vehicle timing, fuel costs, upgrades, mp expenditure to accommodate to what you consider is the ideal design of Ostheer and timings. It's not just OKW, USF and UKF have similar timings with their lights. In: COH2 Balance

A patch cut it to 10% because it was ostensibly too powerful, but the fix didn't go through and it stayed at 20% for over a year. The complaints about it stopped nonehteless. Now it's not a call-in, it could really do with that stronger aura to make it worthwhile. If the unit needs a buff, the aura should add something in a different direction. Damage modifiers are not something you should be messing back n forth, specially on permanent things. In: COH2 Gameplay

Infantry Squad Upgrades Ease of use change All squad upgrades are able to be upgraded out of territory. IIRC Volks and SP could do so. Not sure about Obers or doctrinal infantry. But Obers were later changed to need to buy their LMG34 which might had been forgotten to be changed to be equal as other OKW units. I would ask, what's the benefit of making a rollback. Dodge: no strong opinion in either side. Penals: i have said that the upgrades and abilities should require the research on the HQ. OST still doesn't have any vehicle with even close to 60 range, except for the 245f doc-locked ele. The closest they have is a 50-range STUG. Meanwhile literally every other faction has one non-doc TD at 60 range. OST can manage, but they're still going to be fighting an uphill battle if a match goes into late-game. Again, not necessarily. I'll remind you that the Su85 was cheaper and better at dealing with mediums, specially with vet, than their current version. The FF is not the ideal unit to deal with mass mediums and the Jackson is an issue on it's own. A Stug with some reshuffle on vet (def vet 2 swap with vet 3) and putting TWP at 160dmg (since it already forces a reload) would make the unit perfectly fine. Same with adding to the PV accuracy on vet a lower value, as all other TD receive it. In: COH2 Balance
